    Hey RC, here is a little twist for ya. How do you know that is a tiptronic and not DSG? What makes you think the radiator is for the tip and not DSG?

    How much do you expect it to be? Since the "standard" PCCB of Boxster/Cayman/Carrera costs 8k, I would expect it to be around 10k.

    Right, Rossi. PCCB costs extra money. A lot of money (especially since the Turbo gets 380 mm front discs ).


    RC, isn't 380mm the same as on the Carrera GT??

    The CGT has 380mm all around if I remember correctly. The 997tt could have 380mm front only and 350mm rear.

    can anybody tell me why none of those pics doesnt shows even little of the interior??? i am starting to believe that they are made by porsche and distributed anonymously...

    They are not made by Porsche but they seem to be made with their approval, meaning: take as many exterior pics you want but no interior pictures. Since I've already seen the 997 Turbo interior and I know that it isn't much different from the 997 interior (speedo limit is different for example, 225 mph on US bound cars), the only reason why Porsche doesn't want interior pictures is: DSG. No clutch pedal but manual "stick"...this would give away too much. Maybe also the steering wheel buttons...

    I only hope that this will be one of the three surprises a Porsche official "promised" for the 997 Turbo. VTG, DSG and ? (maybe 500 HP ? )

    Do we expect different buttons for the DSG/PDK in comparison to the current Tiptronic buttons at the steering wheel?
    Will they really bring paddles for the PDK? I am not so sure.

    Well, since both manual and Tiptronic versions of 996 Turbo had a central radiator, why would the central radiator on a 997 Turbo allow any conclusions to be drawn regarding the type of transmission fitted?

    Just out of curiosity...I know the C4/S are wider than the C2/S but I read somewhere that the "hump" on the 997TT is a bit flatter to give the rear a more wider stance compared to the C4/S. Any truth to that??
