Any idea about the expected price for the 997TT

I was told it would exceed $170k

WHAT?! I don't think so.. unless they're hiding another 30 hp option we don't know about, which would probably [censored] me off enough to sell my 997 and buy a Corvette. I believe the general consensus around here is about $150k USD.

if 997S is $81k and in the 996 the difference between the non turbo and the turbo was about $30k so the new 997TT should be about $111k add %10 to that as a normal price difference each year

and it should be $122k..... or what

Right. And I expect around the same money in USD, slightly less maybe. Of course we're talking about a base car, you can easily spec your car to much more money.

I expect my 997 Turbo with PCCB/sport suspension/PDK? to be around 150000-155000. Hopefully less.

so in todays exchange rates of 1 Euro (EUR) = 1.18670 US Dollar (USD)

it will be
140,000 Euro = 166,194 US Dollar

which is about 170000 US Dollar I started with

and yours RC will be 155,000 Euro = 184,000 US Dollar

Yes but lets not forget the price of P-Cars in Europe is relativley higher than in the US. For ex 997s has base price in the UK of 63-66k pounds which is roughly $110k.

RC's price includes german sales tax. So 140k euro's equals 120k euro without tax.

My question is even if the 997TT is 140K-150K US is it worth it?

I mean that is a lot of money. I have a hard time seeing how Porsche will be able to sell that many of these but maybe that is the point. Don't get me wrong I would love to have one but not at these prices.

I can't help but think for 150K US I could buy two used 05 997 C2S.
