No but for some strange reason when I set an AM station it does not keep. For example I have preset 1 set for 610 AM. When I go to set the second one for 1660 to preset 2 it OK until I turn off the radio. When I turn the radio back on preset 2 is gone. I have even tried different preset keys. But it is AM and I only listen to 2 stations so I don't worry about it. I will have it looked at when I get the car serviced.

Yea, I think mine randomly shifted to that same station this week. Maybe it's a new marketing gimick. 
It has only happened once. The other thing that happened is the volume canceled out one day when I was playing a CD. That only happened once too.

Both my 997 coupe and now my 977 cab do the same thing. As they say in the software business, it's a feature not a bug.

This is very strange - mine changes quite often, usually only on start-up, but always to the same frequency as yours - 106FM!!
In the UK, 106FM is a local independant station. In my case Dee 106FM is local to Chester. Is Power 106FM local to where you live?
Can't imagine local low-budget operations could in any way influence Porsche's PCM. I'm sure someone here will come up with an explanation.

Now that is bizzare!
Power 106FM is actually a rap music station here in the LA area. All radio stations are local in the US. Now that's three people who have said that their radio spontaneously changes to that same station, two in LA and one in the UK. What weird little gremlins are lurking in the PCM!

What's "scary" is before my PCM had to be replaced the only way I could SEEM to get the NAV to function (to "reboot(?)" it after it would crash) was to push the sunroof button!! If I did that the nav would come back on! It's really ridiculous. You can't tell what's "wrong" with it superficially; gotta be a programmer.
