    Question about cocoa interior

    With cocoa interior in a 997S coupe, the sunvisors are in black and the rooflining is also in black alcantara. How does this look?

    If I order XMP sunvisors in leather, then presumably the sunvisors will be in cocoa leather against a background of black alcantara rooflining. Any thoughts on this?

    The standard sunvisors are made out of a kind of leatherette (like vinyl). They don't feel all that luxurious in an otherwise nice interior.

    i hv terracotta interior / came with black sunvisors & rooflining. i honestly think it looks & feels fine.
    think cocoa sunvisors will look fine against black alcantara, otherwise, could always opt for leather roof liner in same color...

    In the vehicle just ordered, the headliner will be cocoa leather. What I did not care for was the black alcantara down the A&B pillars. What I really wanted and Porsche would not do was have the headliner in natural brown with a cocoa leather interior. As for the sunvisors, because they are a demountable component, if the black looks out of place, they can always be changed.

    I have the Sunvisors in Cocoa Leather, REAL NICE with nice stitching, definately better looking than the standard black ones !!

    Is there some misunderstanding? I have Cocoa full leather and my whole interior (apart from the seat belts ) is in Cocoa - including the alcantara in the ceiling, the optional mats, etc etc.

    I'm very happy with it, except that I wish I had the leather central console option.

    For some reason US vehicles with the cocoa interior will come with a black alcantara headliner as stock. The only option is a cocoa leather headliner. If someone knows the reason why, please explain!

    I spent a lot of time working with my dealer on this very issue. I started with getting the cocoa sun visors (XMP) and then realized the roof lamp console is also black (when you have a cocoa or terracota interior). I then ordered that as leather covered (XZD). Then I thought twice about the contrast with the black roofliner. I really like the alcantara but I would like it in cocoa and not black so I ended up orderering the A/B Pillar and Roofliner in leather as well (XMA). I hope that's it.

    Does anyone know if and where the stiching is on a leather roofliner? Pictures?

    Thanks, I had to order all of this blind and I'm very curious to know what I'll be getting.

    LOL. Funny to be helpful AND make the wait more agonizing at the same time. One good thing about The Wait is you forget all about it in a day or so after delivery.
