    997TT in yellow

The GermanCarFans link was posted before but I think the pics of the yellow TT are new (if not, sorry for reposting): http://www.germancarfans.com/spyphotos.cfm/spyphotoid/6051213.001

    Re: 997TT in yellow

Not a repost! This pics are new.
On some of them we can clearly see Sport Chrono and Multifunction steering wheel...

    Re: 997TT in yellow

Germancarfans server crashed down! Too many downloads of 997t in Speed Yellow apparently...

This is why we changed servers almost two years ago, to be able to cope with extremely high load/traffic.

    Re: 997TT in yellow

could someone kindly copy and paste them, I cant open that page. thanks!

Their server seems to have too much load, the page doesn't show up. Maybe somebody already downloaded the pictures and could kindly post them? Thanks. Please DO NOT remove the copyright notice, if there is one.

Is it just me or is the driver in the last photo smiling?

    Re: 997TT in yellow

Must have been CF's intesive copy process that brought it down .

    Thanks CF,

So far it Looks good in Silver, Black, and Yellow .

    Re: 997TT in yellow

Are those side air ducts for real? Sorry guy's, this is same old, same old. It is a 997 with a stupid tail on it.

BTW so what if it has only 460 hp. If it runs the Ring in the low 7:50's or high 7:40's what difference will it make.

    Re: 997TT in yellow

Sweet pics. 997 TT w/500+ HP. Gotta love it.

    Re: 997TT in yellow

I know there is a debate on the HP but one can dream can't they?

    YES.
Just imagine what brute of an engine needs those HUGE air intakes

Form follows function... The way cars ought to be designed.

    Re: 997TT in yellow

slightly off topic, but isn't it about time a
'porsche 997 turbo board' is created?
this would help navigation trought all the (great) information available here!

    Re: 997TT in yellow

    That just aint right.

    Re: 997TT in yellow

i hope they put some better exhaust tips on that thing

    A Ford Mustang.

No seriously... they could've at least made those vents part of the rear quarters instead of constantly using those cheap inserts.

    Re: 997TT in yellow

    thanks for posting the pics!

i guess that in black this car might look quite agressive, but i dont think it looks better than the 996tt. porsche obviously missed the opportunity to create something refreshing, somehow on the lines of the CGT, but opted to extend the 911/cayman family. not much we can do about it. i hope the new design boss Maurer will find some more inspiration for the Panamera and the 998.
hopefully they will be able to fill the car with enough technological content to make it an interesting buy for actual 996tt owners. personally i do not see any incentive in the design to do a swap (if i were a 360 owner i would have opted to go for the 430 designwise). so the incentive has to come from within. if 5oo hp and PDK are there it looks good, otherwise not. for 460-480 hp i would not be willing to spend the money for an upgrade (about 90-100k). I'm pretty sure I wouldnt be the only one to think like that...

    cheers

    Re: 997TT in yellow

It looks quite good in black and silver wasn't bad but these pics look horrible. It is just way too busy with all the black holes and lines.

    Re: 997TT in yellow

Looks better every time I see it, can't wait to see it in flesh
