    997/911 TWIN TURBO.....(pics).

    ....ummm, I like it and I don't at the same time. I don't like the fog lights (they should have just left them out). And I don't really like how the rear looks- The design with the exhausts doesn't seem to flow correctly. Also- what about the dual (oval or round) exhausts? are those gone now?

    Convertible???

    If you check the 2nd picture from the top.
    The car which is standing next to the TT with the nr5, looks like hardtop. So why this guy didnt notice it and take some pict from the convertible???!?!?!

    Or maybe it a non TT 997? I dont think so.

    BTW in dark the car looks good.

    What we've seen in these pictures were cars no. 3 and 4, which are coupés and car no. 5, which is a Cab.

    RC- im not surprised, just confirming its a turbo cab, not a regular CS cab etc...furthermore, ur dream car, wont it have HUGE yellow calipers?:)

    380 mm discs with HUUUUUUGGGEEE yellow calipers.

    After waiting and thinking about this- I realize that although the 997TT is powerful... the car simply doesn't even look as good as the old one does (996TT). The front looks cool,but cool in a odd way- that bar that has the led lights is cool, but thefoglights on the lower sides are buldging and absolutely pointless to the design- they are there to make it look really aggressive- instead it looks cheap. The tail... I don't like- I don't like the oval exhaust pipes AT ALL... nor to I like the way the rear is completely designed- it is overstyled to accentuate oval exhaust pipes.

    The GT3 at least has an ultra aerodynamic body and one can say that it's body needs to look the way it does...and it needs that wing. The TT is a really just not my cup of tea visually. Porsche could have gone forward on with a smooth looking car- instead they regressed.

    This car looks like it has the -20mm suspension. It's much lower than a PASM 997.

    Actually, the more I see it, the more I like it. It's actually becoming somewhat 959ish looking. I betcha the 997 GT2 looks amazing. Alas, we'll have to wait probably another year for spy shots.

    Interesting, very interesting question.
    We heard various rumors about the 997 Turbo suspension system, some even indicating a height adjustable advanced PASM system. But the most reliable rumor actually indicates an improved version of the Carrera S PASM system. A 20 mm chassis with limited slip differential (yep, I know...4WD) is rumored to be a free cost option. Not sure about the US though.

    I do hope at the slowest. The 'Vette ZO6 and Noble M400 both get there under 8 flat.
