    If you just do a straight conversion 81500 British pounds = $141,136 US dollars.

    Wow, that price for 21 extra horses and a bunch of flashy options. Makes the Powerkit seem almost reasonable.

    Pardon my ignorance, - what's an "adaptive chassis"? Is that just PASM?

    But just remember that Porsches are much more expensive in europe, specialy in the UK due to very high taxes, then in the U. So that price does not apply to you!!!

    The British Porsche website shows the base CTT for 70,870 British Pounds which is equal to $122,518 US dollars. The base CTT sells for $90,300 US dollars in the USA. So, the base CTT sells for 26% less in the US than in Britain. If we use that same logic, the Turbo S would sell for $104,441 in the US. If that is the case, the Turbo S would be a relative bargain since the current base CTT plus power-kit is over $110,000. Is it possible that the Turbo S will sell for less than the current Turbo + power-kit?

    No, Porsche is excellent at marketing. They will either drop the power-kit option or price the Turbo S above it. They might also raise the power-kit price, but they won't give you any unintended deals.

    In general, I would certainly agree. But, we still are short on details regarding the Turbo-S. We have a little idea of what they've added on, but we don't know yet about what they've deleted. It's certainly possible that they could strip some things out of the current CTT-PK configuration to get the price point lower. Still waiting for more official pronouncements, or more "RC-info" as it becomes releasable.

    I bet Porsche will have the Turbo around 15K or so more. I have no way of knowing this but you know the Turbo will have a premium.

    I believe that the Carerra Turbo S sold for $5000 less than the Carrera Turbo + powerkit. And they gave you more goodies. Just before a new model or facelift it is their way of keeping the sales going strong.

    We shall see.....
