Stunning motor. Love the interior and engine shots. If you're gonna buy a Ferrari you may as well have it in a bight colour

and that steering wheel looks familiar too.

Jack, when I saw yours I had to have one!

BTW, you were right on the money predicting when the car would get to the dealership. Your amazing.

    Re: Steering wheel looks great.....

Are those wheels actually polished or a gunmetal look paint?

Re: Nick's pics thread (was: last one and different angle)

Very nice! What is the colour called? Is it a special order? It looks much better than the yellow Ferraris I have seen so far. Or maybe you have a very special camera Nick?

Just saw your car at the dealer in La Jolla! WoW!

Hi Nberry, I live one block away from your La Jolla dealer. I saw your car being pulled around the back of the dealer around 3:40 this afternoon. All I can say is WoW! Totally amazing. I'm counting the years until I can upgrade my 987S to that

What time are you picking it up? Maybe I will stop by and introduce myself.

Re: Just saw your car at the dealer in La Jolla! WoW!

    Congrats Nick,

When you post pictures like this I can actually forgive all the Porsche bashing.

I like the yellow stitching most of all!

Many more pictures please! Would love to read your review too!

Re: Nick's pics thread (was: last one and different angle)

An other big CONGRAT'S...and have a bottle of champagne for me.

    What a color combination.

    That car grows on me.

    Cheers,

    Gregory

Ah, I see, you informed yourself...

Better to get a new one with CCM directly from the factory.

    Re: Steering wheel looks great.....

wow! great car nick!!! enjoy it , i love every detail ,steering wheel ,stitches ... dont sell it soon!

    Re: Steering wheel looks great.....

Congrats Nick ! Love it. What an exciting time it must be for you. I remember the first week my car was delivered when I wasn't driving it and taking people for rides I was constantly in the garage ooogaling all over it. Even the way it still smells now in my garage is the best smell in the world. Way to go !

    Done.

Really love the car. The only thing that bothers me (beside the brakes is the jacked up stance. There's way too much air around the tires in the wheel wells. You could fit a baseball in there. The coupe is lower but still misses the CS's track car appearance. Guess the pluses of having the taller springs outweight the negatives, giving it's a convertible the softer ride is somewhat necessary but man would the Spider look insane dropped a couple of inches...You done good though Nick, really love the interior especially the steering wheel. Hope you don't mind when I copy you with red... I know it might be far from your mind right now but have you started thinking about the next move yet ? The 430CS or wait until the next model ?

Re: last one and different angle.

If they offer a CS I probably will get one. I would have to think about it because the 360 CS was a bit rough to suit my taste. I drove Ben's alot and he even indicated that after awhile the car worn a little thin.

You mean to say it was less comfortable than his CGT?

No, it was not less comfortable. The CGT was smaller, more of a jarring ride and difficult to drive. Ben's main complaint with the CS was the loud exhaust over a long period of time.

    Good luck all around.
As for the exhaust guess it all depends on what you like. The Modena's exhaust just doesn't do it for me. The level doesn't fit a Ferrari when SL's are sounding more aggressive. IMO one of the best parts about a CS IS the exhaust. For me the exhaust would be a little loud say I was driving the car down to Florida often or across country but for the weekend runs that I go on etc. ,,, just a little louder would be perfect. Any quieter and I couldn't hear my car amoungst the guys I get together with but mostly for the reason that it's a FERRARI! and they sound better imo louder than stock. For my tastes I want my Ferrari hitting level 8 to 10 all around. The further away from my everyday whips the better, afterall why else do you buy a Ferrari. Most likey I will go with a Capristo for my 430. It just makes things that much more alive and fun.

All the best again on your new ride. Use it in good health !

Re: last one and different angle.

Sweet ride. The fit and finish is unreal.

Re: Nick's pics thread (was: last one and different angle)

    Looks great Nick

Re: Nick's pics thread (was: last one and different angle)

Congratulations on a beautiful car Nick. Enjoy!
