    Sports exhaust

    I want to get my 987S an exhaust upgrade for Christmas. Has anyone gone for an aftermarket exhaust and could recommend any? I like the stock sound but just want more of it.

    Great pics. Nice to see some pics from some other people with sand interior.Sorry, can't help on the exhaust front though.

    Nope sorry.. I only got the chrome tail pipes. That's not changing anything but the looks.

    I'm waiting for some options myself. The fabspeed offering doesn't look like it's worth the cash, but it sure sounds nice!

    Ente, got any pictures of the chrome tips on your car? I've yet to see any good pictures of that.

    Old steel tail pipe. At that time it was new and still decently clean/shiny:

    Thanks for the pictures guys. I thought it comes with a chrome/stainless steel surround as well as the tips, am I seeing that in your pictures?

    Either way, y'all are making me want it pretty bad. My tip's all brown. I'm just having a hard time justifying a $300+ EXHAUST TIP. Sheeeeesh!

    A friend suggested GHL. I found some clips. Sounds good.

    Unfortunately, GHL doesn't have a 987 offering at this time though... do they?

    I was confused by their site - it says Boxster/S "all years". Guess it depends what year they wrote that...

    It's amazing how many sites still say "all years", or include 2005 in their parts descriptions when they're clearly not talking about the 987. A lot of online catalogs still don't even recognize that the 2005 exists.

    Argh.

    No, it's just the dual-pipe element which gets simply clipped on.

    /sorry for the hijack girlracer. If you do get a real sports exhaust, let us be part of it please... I don't know anyone else who has one on a 987. Sound files, movies, pictures, descriptions.. everything will be appreciated and properly drooled over

    I just spoke to GPL and they confirmed they don't have an exhaust for the 987 yet. They said they would probably get to it in time, but couldn't give a date. Very friendly though.
