HAHA, for those of us that live in the states the front end looks like nothing more than a more modern iteration of the Infiniti G35 coupe (and so does the cclor). This thing is amazingly ugly! Im sure its great on power but not great on looks!!! Very disapointing!!!!!!!

Interior is a gem!
The back three quarter view is very nice too.
I'm not sure I like the front though... If you look at it above the front spoiler, doesn't it remind you of the Fiat Barchetta?
Almost 1900 kgs!!! That's a bit heavy don't you think?
Then again, this is the GT of the line up so it's ok I guess.

Or the design could be evoking past Ferrari headlamp shapes. Did you consider that one?

I don't care if that car drvies like SPoundsX on wheels, its butt ugly. Not because I hate Ferrari et al. Its just that, the 575M/360/355/ look so much more better and are true to the badge, this in terms of looks is as if, Bangle and Pininfarina got together and had a little "rendezvous".
I know this may not matter: performance, but with the new '65's around the corner, and seemingly no end for HP wars, and because of the post SL55 era, doesn't it seem a bit overpriced at Pounds170-Pounds180000? Don't tell me, its the badge, and you are buying heritage and all, it simply won't do for a car fof this visual calibre.
A tad bit disappointed with this effort, I was hoping the front would look like this a bit...

I know this may not matter: performance, but with the new '65's around the corner, and seemingly no end for HP wars, and because of the post SL55 era, doesn't it seem a bit overpriced at Pounds170-Pounds180000? Don't tell me, its the badge, and you are buying heritage and all, it simply won't do for a car fof this visual calibre.
A tad bit disappointed with this effort, I was hoping the front would look like this a bit...

Here's my take on the 456 replacement:
-it might be hot the first year or two, but after that, you will lose $75,000 on this car the moment you drive it out the dealership. Just like the 456, this car will take a beating on the depreciation. If the 456 is approx. $230,000 is the 612 Scagletti worth $250-$260,000??? I think not. In 2007, you'll be able to pick this car up for $145-$160,000 thats the good news for those who can afford it.
-the drawings were way more inspiring, the drawings showed a longer hood, higher peaks on the fenders/headlights, whats with the wheel gap, needs bigger rims. The interior is nice but I expected more. The true test is to see it in the flesh, how many times have you seen these modern day Ferraris (360 & 550) in pictures and when you see them in the flesh, they are much more impressive. I hope the same is true for this car.
-the competition!! this is the biggie, Ferrari is now in a world of Bentley GT's with 550 hp, all wheel drive and a $149,900 price tag, is the Ferrari worth the extra $100g's?? Better yet, what would you rather have a $260,000 612 Scagletti or a Bentley GT and a 911 Turbo for the same price. I'll take the 2 cars, thank you!!

True, very true.
I'm not sure I can afford the 612 in 3 years.
After selling my 996 Turbo and after seeing how prices drop on used high priced sports cars, I made the decision never to go again for a new car in that price category.
I just saw a Lamborghini Murcielago with 5000 km for almost 60000 Euro below MSRP. Ouch! An I saw a used 456 a few days ago with 8000 km, 3 years old and only 89000 Euro. Ouch again. Next time I'll be a smart buyer and go for a used car from a reputable dealer with low mileage. Buying a new car for over 210000 Euro just doesn't make sense if you get the same car one year later for 50000 Euro less.

Interesting you say this Bilal, because I think it looks like the BMW (Alpina) Z8 in the front.
