They are only rumors and they go in many different directions . But , yes, the ' sort of R ' would be the speedster, the sport classic , or water ever they'll make as a special limited edition

It will...
The 30 extra horses make the GTS maybe slightly under one second faster from 0-200 kph, so...
Also, the GTS will still be a turbo charged Carrera but the GT3 a...GT3.
And with couple of euros and a little chip these GTS Turbo engines can make 550Hp easily making it a very fast car.
I'm afraid not. Porsche was very ambitious to make the life of tuners very miserable.
They (Porsche) knew that with turbo charged engines, tuning "abuse" will follow.

What did they made ? Put the engine near power limit so that tuners can't extract much more power from it or some kind of software that makes difficult to change any parameters on these engines?

Both. Software provides the security, but turbochargers (and related hardware) are not good for much more than stock power because small ones are more responsive (act closer to NA)
Thats why the S has different turbochargers than base Carrera for just 50hp more and also the reason some reviewers say the base car has better driving characteristics (more like NA)

OK, you're giving me hope. You think there will be a .2GT3RS?
i know no more than what has been posted on this board which would seem to indicate it has not been excluded. I was referring to the desire of those with the current GT3RS.

A lot will depend on the success (or not ) of the upcoming 991 GT2 RS. However, the GT3 production happens in Zuffenhausen, so no big deal. These are not handmade models made in Weissach at Porsche Motorsport.
Porsche could reduce Carrera production in favor of GT3 production but again, there is a lot of speculation right now.
