Thanks for sharing Joe, interesting to see that side of the TT
I don't know what it is but as smart and logical you think you are, when you get on a bike and you ride it fast enough like in a track, it all goes out the window... You are dumb as a post. I remember when I last fell at the track years ago and fractured a bone in my wrist, all I could think of even as I was still sliding and rolling on the tarmac is if the bike is OK to keep of going more laps. And sure enough after a quick fix at the box, I kept going until a couple of hours later the swelling and pain maid it impossible to operate the throttle and brake anymore, then spent 2 months with a cast thinking how freaking stupid one can be under certain situations, its like you turn into a zombie with no brain... Doing something like the TT must be similar but taken to the extreme.

Anything goes wrong at that point in the video you pointed out, mechanical failure, animal crosses the road, etc, and you are pretty much an organ donor, not much chance of walking out of that one because you are not stopping before hitting a tree or a house and at that speed (200mph+/300kmh+) ... crazy if you stop to think about it

I have to imagine even being an organ donor is a stretch, don't think any organs inside the body will survive intact

You make a good point, hard to imagine that not even the organs would be usable but you are probably right, it's just the worst possible scenario for a bike accident, 200mph+ speed and solid obstacles all along the side of a narrow road... To put it in perspective, if you jump from a plane high enough to reach terminal velocity, and you are falling with your body flat towards the ground like a skydiver, you would hit the ground at 120mph (200kmh), this guy would hit the tree or house much harder than that...
