    Which is which ?

Can you tell the difference between the hips of the C4 and the C2 ?
(sorry, bad photo quality as taken with phone)

    Re: Which is which ?

    C4 Left ..

    throt..

    Re: Which is which ?

Wow, that's quite noticeable. I love the C4!

    Re: Which is which ?

The broader hips seem to make the wheels on the C4 look a tad smaller in comparison to the C2 IMO.

    Re: Which is which ?

You have to see them really close to say which is which, in that pic its a bit more easy to see which one is the C4 but last week saw a brand new carrera4S cabriolet and difference vs a carrera or S are the same, may be once you start looking them close from some angles, you see which is which, but this is not the same difference at all, as the base 996carrera and a 996carrera 4S

    Re: Which is which ?

The C4 has a fat ass.

    Re: Which is which ?

I wish my mum has a C4S too

    Re: Which is which ?

    hahaahhahahahhahh

    Re: Which is which ?

It'd be interesting to see how they compare if the colors were reversed. The black accentuates the width more IMO.

    Re: Which is which ?

Make sure to park next to a C2 everytime so that you can tell.

and with the back against the wall

    Re: Which is which ?

I can't tell ANY difference! The stooopid wing in the background is distracting me too much.

The camera angle is a little misleading. The camera is favoring the car on the left, accentuating the width of the rear fender. You can tell, because the width of the surface area of the wheel on the left car is less than the one on the right.

    Re: Which is which ?

AFAIK the difference between the 997 C4S and C2S is less than the difference between the 996 C4S and C2S. If this is the case, surely this issue is of comparatively less significance than before.

Personally, I love the 997 C2S and don't feel there's any real need for a wider body.

Intriguingly, I was comparing the 997 C4S with the 997 C2S and found some very interesting differences. Enhanced PSM. Brake assist. However, although the brochures state that a minimum of only 5% of power goes to the front wheels in a 997 C4S, in normal road driving, as much as 35% goes to the front. For me, that is too much.

Also the front boot on the C4S is smaller than the C2S.

997 C2S is the one for me!

I was just going to say the same thing, by changing the camera angle I can make the hips of my 997C2S look very wide or narrower. And in this picture the camera angle will accentuate the hip of which ever car you place on the left.

    Re: Which is which ?

    Can you tell? I can't

    Re: Which is which ?

Yes, I can tell . It' s not big, but it's obvious, specialy the part between the door and the back wheel

    Yeah! Love it too!

I can definitely tell the difference! I'm glad it's not any wider because it would look awkward, IMO. Just perfect!

    Re: Which is which ?

To all those who say how big the difference is and how easy it is to see, let's not forget the long thread with all the back and forth from a few months ago when some of the first early unofficial photos of the C4 came out (remember those pics of the frosty hips in a parking lot), and many believed that car was actually the C2. Now that we know what we're looking for, it's much easier - no doubt - but the difference is subtle.

This might be true...but I can tell you that in real life, when both cars are parked like that next to each other, and you look at it from this angle the difference is OBVIOUS ! at least as much as on the pic... ( and I am not saying this because I have a C4S on order )
