My first porsche driving courses in Jarama circuit (Madrid)
I went to the first porsche driving courses in my life, last week 26th of October!!!!...
Suddenly we went really late at we only had the pleasure to do 3laps in the circuit with a 987 base boxster, and drive in wet surface to see how the psm works=powerslides in wet surface, I think that was the best of the day!!!.....I test-drove a 987boxsterS tiptronic S and a 997carrera S Cabriolet manual tranny, the carrera was by far more fun in the wet surface, it was the first time I really powerslide in wet surface, just followed monitor instructions, and I was really amazed how I did!!!
We also drived 3laps in the circuit with a base 987 like I said, but this time I was in the passenger seat, and my dad driving, it was our first time driving in a circuit, and this baby really sound nice at high revs, really porsche sound, it really performed well....
We had some porsche presents, like a hat and a portable cd's compartiment, with a t-shirt...
There where lots of 996 turbo's, 997's all the range, including the Carrera 4S cabriolet, which from my point of view, it looked exactly the same as a base 997 or 997S, lots of cayennes, even two of cayenne turbo's went out at track, really nice to see them to the limit, lots of boxster's too, and last but not least a very special car (to the attention of BC997J
), an amazing 996GT3RS in blue...I only heard the car once when it was in the track, suddenly I was testing the boxster S when I heard it, it has a very different sound in comparison with the rest.....and well I had the pleasure and the luck to meet a porsche mechanic of our dealer, that suddenly started the RS for me, and did some high revved accelerations, guys there was a momment I was shocked, and a bit scared because I was too close to the exhaust, now I can say that I've heard an RS up to 8.200rpms, I will upload the video in megaupload after posting the pics, its only 2mb and believe its worth to watch it!!!
