i said that next time i would NOT tick any option EXCEPT for bucket, shields and CRM.

what i wanted to say is: i would order buckets, shields, ceramik brakes... and nothing else

rossi ,zzoba . if i had to choose between the 3 seats offered by ferrari ,i would surely pick the bucket seats ,they have the best look no doubt. my problem is with the back of the seats that are in carbon, i had carbo fiber in my first modena , and alu in the second one. i enjoyed alu much more, its much more"bright",specially with black interior. i would have ordered carbon trim,bucket seats with grey interior .but with black,carbon is too dark. i wish they had the bucket seat with silver back finish a la 997 sport seats,it would have been perfect...

I know Ferrari of Ontario has Rosso Corsa/Nero with red stitch and standard seats in their showroom when I was there earlier this week. Give Marco a call. I'm sure he'll send some pics.

Exactly. Neither the alu in the 430, nor that in the 612 looks like alu, although it actually is, not as in case of the silver painted plastic of the 997. Strange.

The 360 was much better, but here the alu trim was far more widespread in the cabin, which gives it totally different impression than those three tiny areas in the 430.

wait wait wait! do you mean in the 430 its not real aluminum,like the 360,its painted plastic?????? is that possible?

I looked at both options closely and carefully and ordered the aluminum. I thought the CF looked shiny and plasticky, and felt the aluminum was pretty much the same as in my 360. To each his own.

Yes, you're right. Surely the alu is of a good quality (at least it should be at that price of the car

).

I think it's mostly the fact, that there are only a couple of parts in the 430 instead of the whole surrounding in the 360.

And CF brings a change in the interior BTW.
