    The wait is getting SOOOOOOOOOOOO hard.
    My car will be built next week and I should get it two weeks later.
    I went for another 4 hour 'test' drive today ( 997 C2S), to calm down.
    Tomorrow I am going for another 'test ' drive..the 997 C4S !!!!! I am going mad

    lol, stop going on test drives! It helps when you are driving, but when you get back home and realize you won't get your car for another 2 weeks, it makes it worse!

    will today be the magical day that I get my 911? OMG LET'S HOPE SO!!!! (dark circles under the eyes)

    Yup I hear ya guys; still waiting here. I seriously have spent the last two evenings tossing and turning in bed. I don't know how many more nights I can take before I have to check into ER


    My salesman told me last week they actually get a notification from the trucking co. 48hrs prior to delivery. I spoke to him briefly last night on another issue and it sounded like her didn't receive any 'delivery notice' as of yet

    4 Hours , you guys there and in the states get well looked after and get real demos . The UK OPC structure needs to read into whats goes on elsewhere and take on some favorable CS treatment ,, or is it that we need to give them a good kick up the arse . With anything in life one sets a Precedent , and I feel that the UK P customer has obviously set a very poor one ..

    Arrogance and " no f*****g interest " ( Sorry ) due to vehicle demand does spring to mind when UK dealerships are concerned ( from my experience ) , reason because of the above , the UK customer bends over , not the damn dealer..

    Okay enough of my waffle and moaning but I feel the above is true and factual ..

    the car is sitting in san diego right now, waiting for transport. once it gets on the truck, it's about 48 hours to get it up here. again .. the car is just sitting there.

    .... OH GOD GET THAT CAR ON THAT TRUCK!!!!

    Anyone get their car yet?

    I just found out that your salesman can actually call down to the dock and find out if your car has been loaded onto a truck, or how long before they expect it to leave the port.

    They told my salesman that min has not been loaded yet

    Maybe the rest of you can find out some good news.

    same here, sales guy called just to find that the car is not even loaded yet. we are now looking at sat ... sun ... maybe mon.

    I'm actually in a weird situation. I just moved into a town home (2 car garage) and the place won't be available til next tuesday, so I'm semi-glad that I'm not getting the car yet

    Boy I tell ya, misery loves company. If I didn't have this forum to know that there were others in the same boat as me(pun intended) I would have seriously gone ballistic on someone by now.

    I spent last weekend painting my garage(nursery) in preparation for my bab's arrival. Looks like I'll get to finish painting before the car gets here. I guess that makes me semi-glad too.

    No wait, I take that back. I'm still pissed!

    oh man ... not a second goes by do I not think about my C2S. this is unbelievable, I can't even focus at work, I am thinking about taking rest of this week off and just sit around at my house. This really really really sucks.

    going to finish up all the papers today at the dealer, makes me feel as if I did something dealing w/ the C2S this week. Keeping the sanity.

    oh man ... just went and paid the car off. ETA is now "before end of oct". So I told the guy ... I GOT to drive a porsche soon, so I got to drive back to the office in a 997S convert. Very very nice, and now I actually feel better!

    MY CAR JUST ARRIVED AT THE DEALER!


    My salesman just called; it was being off loaded and going to be put through inspection. I've arranged for my detailer to be there 7am tomorrow and I pick up by 12 noon. The digi-camera is already on the battery charger!

    I so happy I'm doin' the happy dance right now! Woohooo!!

    Heya- just had time to log on for a min.

    Yes, my wife and I are leaving for the dealership now; salesman called- my detailer will be done in about 12:30pm, we should be there around 1:00-1:30 depending on how long my wife takes to get friggin' dressed!

    I'll post in a few hours pics. I hope you get a phone call today for yours!

    called the dealer yesterday: The car is PDI since the 26th, I wouldn't be surprised if it arrives tomorrow.

    called the watch dealer yesterday: tag says the watch was shipped 3 days ago, I wouldn't be surprised if it arrives tomorrow.

    called the house contractors yesterday: we are just finishing up the garage now, I wouldn't be surprised if it's ready by tomorrow.

    it's now tomorrow, 6:57am, I'm expecting a lot of things to happen today. Cross fingers...

    Thanks Matt. I just found out today that my car shipped yesterday, typically it takes 48 hours for it to get up here. So we are looking at arriving at dealership tomorrow. Plus 1 day of prep, Monday will be delivery!
