    Agree. a new design deserves a new wheel, and the s is a beauty. fills up the wheel wells and is substantial enough to work with the car.
    no throwback design for me <g>

    I really like the Carrera wheels. Thought I liked them even better than the S wheels till you see both together. The S wheels I think looked better on your car. But that's all a matter of opinion. What's not a matter of preference is how hard it is to clean sport design wheels. I like the inside of my wheels to look clean. Trying to keep the inside of sport design wheels clean would be an absolute nightmare. And for whatever reason the 997's brakes make the wheels much dirtier than my 996's. I wouldn't be surprised if people with the sport design wheels give up on trying to keep the inside of the rims clean and only clean the outside.

    The 997 brakes create more dust because they use a softer compound brake pad then before. BMW is also doing the same thing. My 745 wheels are black within a week. One of the reason I love the ceramic's is they product almost no brake dust. I only usually rinse the wheels when washing the car and about every 3rd or 4th time I actually clean them with a soap and water.

    Thanks. I didn't know that. Guess that's why I didn't have this issue with my 996 Turbo. It's really a pain in the ass.
    I love the CC brakes on my CS too. On my 997 Turbo cab order the PCCB's will be the 1st. option I check.
