    I drove the Cayman S, and it's incredible!

    I just got back from Spain where the international launch took place for the dealers. We had an opportunity to drive the Cayman S in the hills of Ibiza. I have never driven a road car that handles better than this new Porsche. It's neutral, powerful, and so easy to drive fast. We all had a big smile on our faces when we came back from the ride.
    The car looks good in the pictures, and much better in the flesh. I attached some pictures.

    The Cayman feels a lot more like a small 997 Coupe. It's much stiffer than the Boxster. It feels more gokart like any other car I have driven.

    Wow...I've surprised myself. The last white car I really liked was the first gen M3...but this Cayman in white really looks hot. My spec would be:

    white
    two tone grey/black interior
    or
    all black interior w/ red seat belts

    Can anyone photoshop the white pic and add the exterior aluminum option #DAE? This option gives an aluminum look to the front grill openings, side "gills", and lower side mirror supports.

    Why couldn't they have done that on the Boxster!
    Or at least offered it as an option from the start.

    Yeah, they usually look better body colored. But the silver ones on a Boxster look really good if you get Sport Design wheels.

    I hope they will bring the Cayman to the Porsche Lunach at the end of the month..
    The Yellow one looks good, anyone knows if it's the same Yellow as in the 996 ?
    My favorites are the Yellow, Blue & White.. in that order..
    I will have to see it in person before I make up my mind

    Ahh, but that IS the plan . Show it as std on the Cayman, so that 987 Boxster buyers can be motivated to pay $900 for " painted side intake " option next model year , hoping buyers have forgotten that it was std on the 986 Boxster. !
