    high tech FXX factory engineering

    look at this high tech works ...
    it's wonderful to see how italian engeneers studied a solution to mantein open the new Fxx door ...AHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!

    That was pre-production test fitting of the new panels. They weren't carbon fiber yet, and had no struts to hold them up yet....

    Those are the body panels of Fxx number "17", waiting to be painted in a facility near Ferrari's factory in Maranello!

    Inside we find also a beautiful Dark Blue Fxx just painted and number "14" standing in the corner as you can see from the first two pics!

    After the paint job, all the body panels go back to the factory to be assembled to the rest of the car!

    Yesterday, only the number "1" was done and ready to be collected by the happy owner...but they said that all the Fxx will be finished by the end of this year!

    i went to the factory in september and i saw the production line of the FXX and it's not like that ....

    YES, the blueish panels are fiberglass, not carbon fiber. They make them out of that sometimes first. It is cheaper, plus it's very durable and light. Great for test fiting before the carbon fiber panels are made.

    Commendatore...of course this isn't the production line of the FXX!! Nobody said that...

    As I said, this is a facility near Ferrari's Factory where they have all the body panels of every FXX, painted!

    When I was there I saw a blue MC12 for delivery. Do you have pics of the blue FXX
