    Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

Once again, i was doing my routine of browsing thru my favorite car sites and stumbled on a new exotic.

s with any auto show, some of the most unique vehicles can be found behind the stanchions of boutique manufacturers. Such is the case with Mitsuoka, a low-volume niche manufacturer that will unveil the Orochi Nude Top concept at this year's Tokyo Motor Show. The Nude Top, or convertible as we Westerners would say, is inspired by the original Orochi mid-engine concept that debuted in 2001. That car was based on the Acura NSX, though it's unknown what vehicle underpins the Nude Top. Not much is known about the Orochi Nude Top concept, except that it will officially be busting out sometime next week

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

    Looks like an ALIEN.

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

Did Chris Bangle move to Japan?!

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

Looks to me like they built the cars and then they put them in a very high temperature oven to melt them.

As ha said Chris Bangle's got to have some input in this one.

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

That car is disgusting. It's the first exotic that when i saw the pictures, the first thing that came to my mind was "i really hope I don't see one".

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

    Incredibly... fugly.

    LOL!!!

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

the beauty of this car can only be acknowledged once you're standing right next to it. ok the front is weely weely weird, looks like the melted headlamps of c-class merc. However, check out the side detailing. Look at how the door is designed (like a wave). look at the air intakes at the back. its very unique, ive got to give them props. most supercars and exotics are beggining to look like theyre cut out of card boards or sheet metal, their try to focus more on edgy futuristic lines. This flounder is very curvy, which makes it looks weely expensive and posh. IMO

they have to change the grill however, very old school nissan sentra/sunny like.

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

Dang! Those are really, really ugly cars.
Hope they are fast enough to shake off all that ugliness

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

    Amir, your avatar is um....

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

yes my new avatar cosists of how i will be speccing my new woman, i mean ride. now that im single, im beggining the painstaking process of ordering my new ride , ive already made sure to order the dual passenger airgabs. actually if they're too expensive, i might have the airbags retrofitted by a doctor, oops i meant dealer.

And it appears that they are doing a front side safety test, a very hands on type of procedure.

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

    Are these two-stage?

    Re: Japanese Supercar (very impressive)

If its one thing to be learned with this thread is that 2 melons are superior to Japans best "car".
