    Most ugly option of all times

    Is it just me or is that wing that Porsche did the most ugly thing they have ever put on a production car in the history of Porsche ....... For those people waiting on the GT3 , if it has that thing on it you should just pass on the car .

    If you do get it ,,, you may want the official hat to go with it


    If someone from Porsche is reading this ... take this thread into your next meeting after it is about 20 pages long and tell them to do a recall on this obscene growth .

    Hey Pimp Daddy, I agree! It's a crime to have that funky wing on a beautiful car like that.. it does not belong there, it completely ruins the aesthetics, IMO!

    yep, ugliest wing of all time, but then judging at the wheels the owner of the car clearly doesn't have taste

    oh yes....that's crazy how only with wheels and a spoiler you can ruin a car's look... by the way i agree with ocean on the rear spoiler ,but i do like a lot the front bumper of the aerokit...

    yea the front is nice and I would love to see it on a lowered car without that trash on the back ... and yea those wheels what can you say ,, it is a showroom in Florida .......... beautiful state but kind of a 3rd world country when it comes to good taste

    You're right, it should have a bigger wing. The street GT3 should have the same aero package as the 997 Cup car. It's a racecar, they don't need to tone it down for the street.

    Agreed. I worry that Porsche will read this forum and think, "wait we need to design the wing so it will look better."



    Really we should be musing about drag coefficients and downforce so Porsche will read and think, "wait we need to design a better performing wing." That's what a GT3 is about.

    At least make it a delete option for the wing keeping the front . why does the GT3 get an ugly wing and yet the TT has a wing that is not offensive .

    The TT is not a track car in the way the GT3 is (it's good on the track, but track days are not its purpose) and Porsche knows they need to appeal to aesthetics, not just track day junkies that couldn't care less. From old numbers I think they sell at least twice as many TTs as GT3s in the US so it has to appeal to a wider audience. Maybe it's good that many people don't like the looks of the GT3 wing since with the 996 GT3 many people bought it and sold it soon after because it wasn't the right car for them. If the GT3 is ugly at least Porsche knows people are buying that car for the right reasons. BTW I think anything that's dictated by function is beautiful. There's just something about it. My proof of this is that many wild wind tunnel dictated shapes look better than Japanese rice rockets that are designed for looks to try to look aerodynamic. They have more freedom to incorporate beauty with the TT wing because it doesn't need to work as well as the GT3 wing.

    I think 'one' of the worst looking options is the two tone Terracotta/Blk interior Porsche came out with. To me it looks like Halloween, I cant take it, but many people like it.
