Delivery Time

My dealer tells me that it will take 5-6 weeks after completion of my car for delivery to Southern California. Does that sound right? I thought the delivery time was shorter, like 3-4 weeks.

Information I have is that my car was completed 9/21 and due at dock 10/16. 5-10 days to arrive at dealer.

Am I wearing a trench into my carpet pacing back and forth?

Completed production on Sept. 7th or 9th (i forget) and is due at Brunswick, GA dock Oct. 3rd or 4th.

Seems like they should quote 3-6 weeks!

Yesterday I was loitering at my P dealer- kicking tires, test fitting myself into every P with an unlocked drivers' side door, comparing shifter throws, turning every steering wheel until locked.......

What the hell......might as well bring out the iron maiden, 'cause this is pure torture

Mine completed production on September 12 and was due in Baltimore port on October 1st... Don't know where it is now..

I've got an "S" on order for possible late Dec or early Jan delivery to SoCal. I'm getting a sick feeling thinking about the lousy weather that time of the year, rough Atlantic seas, how well those things are strapped down and if there's damage and subsequent repair how will you know.

That's two ports on the east coast (Baltimore, MD and Brunswick, GA). Are there more, as in Charleston, SC?
I'm in NC and will have one coming so am curious.

Mine is on the Auto Banner headed to So. Cal. It really does take about 5 weeks after production to get here. The boat docks Oct. 16, so expect the car at the dealership on the 20th or so.

My ONVESL date was 9/2 and the car arrived at the dealer 9/29. I picked up yesterday (10/3). It was quite a bit quicker that I had expected. The normal time from port-to-port seems to be about 20 days.

Thank God I don't live on the west coast, I couldn't wait that long!
