Great , might it be that the dealer saw a woman and thought that he'd play his game out???
Even if he pay for the key, i wouldnt like to have a key travelling around........of my car

Yes, female. My husband has talked to the dealer once, so not sure if he's just being a jerk thinking he's pulling one over on me. I hear what you are saying that you wouldn't like one of your keys floating around out there. I'm trying to tell myself that the original key is somewhere 2500 miles away, but it is a bit troubling. Dealer is now saying that they will cut the key (versus my local dealer).

I got 2 keys and a flat key. No idea what the point of the flat key is. Surely you can't do much with it!..?
If it was my car (new or used) I'd want 2 keys - one to keep back at the house... What if you locked your keys in the trunk? (The trunk auto-locks if you've used the remote to open the trunk when the car was locked).
