Galitian Sportcar Reunion
We had a reunion this Sunday of sportcars of friends of friends of friends of the area, and gathered together for a nice 150km route, and lunch afterward at a castle here that now is made into a resort.
We were 42 cars total. It was good fun and great enviroment. Got many compliments for the sound the 997S made with Sport Exhaust, many were surprised also coming from a carrera, it can get very loud if you control the throttle and revs
So here are a few pictures
Here was the starting point, preparing:
This Jaguar made an incredible sound, V12, completely empty inside, except rollcarge and bucket seats. This guy collects classic cars.
Here we did a stop along the middle of the route at this place for some wine and h'ouderves:
And here at the place we gathered for the meal at the end:
Here is the 997S next to a friend's 996Turbo with X73 Sport Suspension... which is the widebody one?
Here is the fortress/resort were it was held, its nearby were I live:

More views. Here some of our portugese members or rally fans may recognise the guy in the edge of the picture, he is Ferreira Da Silva, famouse portugese rally driver, 6 times uphill portugese champion and many other titles. He is 57 and still runs strong with a Escort Cosworth racecar with 500HP, 7 gears, 500km needs engine rebuild ect. and is still wining! now his son is walking in his footsteps and just won mountain NT championship with an EVO MR, the kid brought the Modena in an above picture.
