CloseIt seems Porsche has already stopped new Porsche Boxster and Cayman orders.
No more orders possible it seems.
Production will stop as soon as already ordered cars have been delivered to customers.
Next gen is EV only.

That’s a shame. As you posted on another thread EVs come across as one dimensional and the joy of driving even without thrashing a Cayman will be missing in the replacement regardless of how quick it may be. I have posted here before that the market for rehabilitating older cars will only grow; however, the EU will probably ban that market segment too - can’t have too much joy.
Is that 718 production stop for all the markets or only EU ?
As to the Spyder RS and the GT4 RS, going until mid 2025 will end up being a normal production cycle for the 4RS, and for the Spyder it is short cycle. Not sure if that will make lots or cars or not by the end as at my local dealer they got only 1 allocation of the GT4 RS for then entire 2024 year
You’ve probably seen the news that the 992.2 GTS will be NA. For a corporate strategy perspective, I suspect the 718 is a casualty of freeing up emissions and “fleet efficiency” regulatory targets for the higher margin 911. 718 RS products can live a little longer given their margin… The Macan EV is also part of this process.

You're right, I misunderstood the information I got. 
Only EU stop...
