    Fisker Be Pimpin - Revealed!


    Unbridled, unleashed, and way overpriced..Fiskers are just reskinned SL55's and 650's. He better advertise heavily in DUB and hope the hip hop homeys with $$$ buy a couple. They saved Bentley, maybe they can make Fisker.

    DeTomaso recently tried selling reskinned Mustangs in the US and lost their asses. I wish Fisker better luck, his employees will need it.

    This is the guy who designed the new Aston Martins, btw...

    That 610HP Fisker/Kleeman Tramonto using an AMG-oid 5.5L V8 supecharged/intercooled engine certainly sounds good on paper. But, of course, cars are driven not on paper, but on asphalt.

    Exactly why I was somewhat disappointed with the Fisker line, but in retrospect, you cannot expect much more from a coachbuilder. He's not trying to be an all out manufacturer...yet.

    How fortunate we are not to have all the money of those hip hop homeys!!! We actually have to give some thought about how to spend what money we do have. Neocortical Man has the advantage of being able to rationalize not having all the fun of Paleocortical Man.

    I definitely agree Al, limbic is preferable. Especially good at convicing cortical that "it's just money"!!!

    I noticed too that there's no 6-speed manual, especially not in the performance package, ala MB/AMG. Takes all the fun out of driving a superfast roadster.
