AM V8 Vantage standard vs optional wheels

Made a quick photoshop from the picture where the AMV8 had the optional wheel up front and the standard wheel at the rear. IMO the standard wheel is far better looking than the optional, and would be my choice.

What is interesting is that I haven't been able to find a single picture of the AMV8 with the standard wheels, all the pictures I have seen are with the optional wheels. The Aston Martin website suuucks, in their so called gallery, they have a single picture of each AM model - appalling!

Optional wheels, please note that the rear wheel looks a bit goofy since I just copied the front wheel and didn't have the proper tools to twist it:

I also do not like the look of the "optional" 19 inch 7 spoke wheel. The standard 18 inch 10 spoke wheel apparently still does not exist and Aston is tight lipped about when / if it will become available. The 10 spoke wheel from the exotics on road picture is a 19 inch DB9 wheel and would also be my choice for the Vantage. I also agree that the Aston web site is long overdo for an update.

Interesting, thanx for the info.
I thought the standard 10-spoke wheels would be an 18" version of the DB9 wheel.

I wish they would have kept the concept wheels:

Agreed. Concept wheels look good, standard #2, optional #3. BUT they all look acceptable.
