    Decibel leves at Nurnburgring att: Europipe users

    I have the X loud Europipe exhaust.
    I think there are a few rennteamers that have been to the Ring that also have them, do you have any problem with being too loud?
    I'm thinking of bringing my car over to Europe for a few months next Spring, and wanted to check out the Ring and was concerned of the decibel limits they had, if any.

    Hi RR4!

    I have the same exhaust as you, and I've been at the Nordschleife twice this year with the GT3...everything was ok!

    Sometime I saw that they check the noise just before entering the toll gate!

    They check specially motorcycles but it happens often to see that they checked also cars...

    That's one of my nightmare every time...the idea of doing 2000Km just for nothing make my sick!

    Hi Chris, unfortunately no more videos yet...I will go to the Nordschleife one more time this year, before selling the GT3! I will do some shooting there!

    My GT3 now have 46000Km...

    Time to start thinking about the right substitute!
    In a few days we will receive a DB9 Volante so I'm not worried about staying without my car for few months!
    I will be waiting for the 997 GT3...but if all the rumors are true (PSM, PCM and things like that) I will wait for the RS version and by the time I will go for something else...an F430 is optioned, delivery March 2006! They just need to know the specs of the car (and if will be F430, will be Black, brown sport seats, ceramic brakes, challenge wheels and some carbon fibre here and there!) and most of all if we want to keep or cancel our option!

    Let's see...can't wait to hear something official from Stuttgart!

    I will plan to go back to the NS the first week of October or in November, right after my bachelor's degree!

    Hope to see some "Rennteamers" there!!

    In terms of reliability this shouldn't be a problem. I'd predict that the DB9 provides a much different driving impression , not sure if you can live without it for that long.
    The 430 shouldn't be a bad choice, I suspect resale price and demand reasonably well - right? So this might be the right option for one more year.You might exchange views with user Zzboba - if you haven't done already. He turned in his GT3 RS for a 430 coupe a couple of months ago.

    Should there be a PSM feature on the GT3 than I predict it to be either optional or with a function to completely turn it off.
    ON the other hand the RS version, as predicted by some magazines, might be an interesting choice either.
