    Sunroof in a Ferrari??In a Challenge Stradale????WTF??

    Thanks to Swiss Car for the photos.

    If i'm not wrong i dont think Ferrari ever used a sunroof as an option for a Ferrari did they???

    what a bizare option. Kinda defeats the purpose of all the carbon fiber extras. Seems more of an issue of exclusivity than functionality/effeciency

    that's an interesting car - note the Challenge car style trunk and hood clips ... the odd windows (were any CS actually delivered with the Challenge style side windows?) ... non factory stripe ...

    that sunroof looks awful, looks like a piece was cut out of the roof by someone in his back yard, especially with that odd shape

    its a ferrari option on the 360. I always saw it as a lame way of making up for a lack of GTS variant in the range.

    Ferrari should have made a Spider version of the Stradale - that would have been one hot car! Imagine a "360 CS Spider" that was *lighter* than it's Coupe counterpart - just like Porsche have done with the Boxster/Cayman... awesome!

    It looks like just cutting the roof off without the glass!? Extra weight saving?

    No. Not on a CS. (lots a reasons). Number one being it's complete opposite everything the car is about.
    It's aftermarket and sacraligious.

    Actually, it would be more like making a GT3RS convertible.

    Pretty sure it's a CS and the guy took a saw to the roof. I've seen guys with Modena's that add parts like the mirrors and wheels to make it look like a CS but this guy would have had to add the brakes, the wheels, the suspension, the CS rocker panels, rear plexiglass w/ cf support, CS deck lid, mirrors, the front fender, the interior including the cf doors. It's possible but more likely he just cut a whole in the roof of his CS.

    I know that the optional Ferrari Sunroof is pentagonal like that one. Everything on the car seems right for a CS. The one thing that bothers me is the stripe though! Instead of Green and Red little stripes it has Red and Red... Frankly I am not a fan. :-/

    You can buy that stripe for $1200. (cost $5900 as an option with clear coat sealed from factory). It would be easy to cut out the green and orange stripes leaving the color of the car to shine through. A sunroof was not available on a CS. I've seen aftermarket co. w/ that shape.

    It's the same factory option available on the 360......The guy must have had it done as some kind of special CS option.

    This car is a normal Swiss 360 CS with a Carrozzeria Scaglietti sunroof option and the CS stripe is only a sticker.

    I can't believe Ferrari would cut a hole in a CS for someone. What's next ? Park assist in an Enzo ?

    The stripes on all CS's (w/ stripes) are stickers.

    No, they are not. I didn't mention them just because I didn't know the words.

    Well, now I know, so this is a normal Swiss 360 CS with a Carrozzeria Scaglietti sunroof option, Lexan windows and Challenge style metal fasteners/latches on the front trunk and engine compartment lid.
