    Anybody noticed this:

    If you lay your foot under your clutch pedal and turn your steering wheel from left to right you can feel a bumping sensation under the sole of your foot. Just noticed this and wonder if it's normal or I need to take a trip to my dealer. It feels like your foot is resting on the steering rack!!!

    With a new car you find a confortable place to rest your left foot and noticed this turning a corner. It might be where the steering column passes through the floor and connects to the steering rack. I am going to get it checked out by my dealer as it just doesn't seem right to me and as it is related to the steering it's obvious very important.

    You presumeably have a RHD car, so your foot IS virtually resting on the steering rack if you rest it on the floor below the clutch pedal! You'll just be feeling the vibration from the rack itself or the servo system hydraulics, especially if you are cranking the steering wheel while the car is stationary.

    Friz you are right. I ve been back to my dealer and had it checked out. It's just a normal vibration. We compared it to the dealers demo and it had the same vibration. My car has -20mm and is extreamly communicative through the chasis. The demo had PASM, Aerokit + PSE. There is IMO a significant difference to the feel and character of the car with PASM it's like a magic carpet, you could feel the car pitching/floating from the front to rear. I guess you get used to the particular set up. IMO i think the -20mm is a superior set up, i know you loose some comfort over the PASM but the payback is well worth it. To me the -20mm is the best thing on this car. Ok the car is fast in a straight line but not scary fast, through the corners though this car scares the [censored] out of me. I just cant believe how it holds on and feels like its pulling you through the corner by the steering wheel.

    This is often the swaybar moving around a bit - gets worse when the swaybar bushings are worn...
