    Cayenne Panorama Roof is coming!

    Porsche introduces the new Panorama Roof with MY 2004.
    It is a 3 piece glas roof with dark tint, "Targa-style".
    It should be available starting october 2003.

    The Cayenne V6 will be one of the slowest Porsches, ever built. It remembers me to the "good" old 944 times.

    Please please - more info! My order is hold until then (also because the 20" wheels are not avail now due to constraint).     The Panoramic Roof option will be 3190 Euro (incl. 16% VAT) in Germany.
    I suppose the US price tag should be around 2500 USD, maybe slightly more.
    Option code is 3FU.

    Another highly interesting option coming: the Advanced Offroad Technical Package which offers enhanced off-road capabilities.
    Another new option is the new sun protection glass with enhanced brake-in safety and stronger tint in the rear.
    Option code is PJ1, I can highly recommend it to anyone living in a hot climate!

    I would no longer be surprised if Porsche announced a Boxster Diesel at IAA-Frankfurt.

    As long as it keeps their revenue up I'm happy about it.

    One thing that concerns the most is that recently Porsche has been popping up with one product after another, I just hope the GOD that their quality of cars won't go down

    Having many different selection is one thing and losing quality and workmanship is another. But I guess time will tell.

    What do you guys think?

    Hey, 944s were great cars. I'm considering getting one as a commuter car. The less I spend on a commuter car, the more I can spend on my 930...

    Yes, they are wonderful cars. Very balanced and solid. I have an 89 944S2 that I have used as a daily driver for years.
