Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

I'm looking forward to watching the practice on tv tomorrow Dr. Phil and I was wondering if you have any predictions for the Italian Grand Prix?

Re: Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

I love that track - my favorite next to Spa...

Re: Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

I'm not Dr. Phil, but my money is on Kimi. Ladyboy Alonso will finish third, after Montoya

Re: Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

I am with your scenario, Zürich

Re: Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

The McLaren cars are unbeatable, it doesn't matter who is in the driving seat, and no other car in the grid can challenge them or do anything about it, so my bet is McLaren 1 and 2... unless they break or are preasured to do a mistake

Re: Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

I agree, it will be a fight between the McLarens. Montoya has always been extremely fast at Monza so I expect him to clinch pole, but I think Kimi will win the race. Alonso and hopefully Button will fight for the last podium...

Re: Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

McLaren seems to have the fastest car now and Kimi hasn't made any mistakes. I just watched the live timing of the first practice and, as usual, DeLaRosa was much quicker than anyone including Kimi. In fact, he was 8/10th's under the lap record! I wouldn't be surprised if McLaren runs their 3rd car slightly underweight in practice just for headgames. I don't think the cars that don't race get weighed. Where's Phil?

    Oh, my good Mr. Moment.
This is indeed a good question, and I am happy that you are seeking my expert advice on this important matter.
As you all know I am THE source when it comes to objective and unbiased F1-comments....

    Here is my prediction:
    1) Monty (I believe he will combine pace, luck, focus and determination in this race)
    2) Kimi (The McLarens are by far the fastest of the pack, so unless Monty or Kimi blows an engine, I believe a 1-2 victory for McL is likely.
To everyone's surprise I hope Kimi wins - but Monty has been seriously fast these past few races. So either one could win.

    3) Button
Jenson is determined to make up for lost time, penalties and back luck - and last race proved he is a lot more competitive than his BAR package seem to be on paper.

    4) Allahando "Girlieman" Homonzo.
I wouldn't be surprised if somehow he got the victory handed on a silver platter as we have seen so many times before - but since I cant even deal with the mere thought, I have to place he according to what I believe he deserves.
He is headed for the title and fate is on his side, but the McL's are faster and I believe he will be a bit more cautious during the final stages of the championship, so he doesnt make too many mistakes and throws it all away.
This will make room for a guy like Button, who has nothing to lose - hence my prediction of a 3rd place to him.
But of course all this will change if Feminando is wearing lipgloss.

    5) Schumi. Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side.
    6) Trulli. Needs the points.
    7) Fisi. Renault reliability but lacking Feminado's lucky touch.
    8) De la Rosa
    9) Rubens. Still a great driver, but sucky package this year.
    10) Ralfieboy. BMW reliability isn't up there.
    11) DC megajaw. Does well in the Red Bull racer
    12) Yes, Massa
    13) Keeping it Klien
    14) Double Webber with cheese
    15) Heidi-ho
16-20) who knows - who cares?

    Your best one so far

If de la Rosa manages to finish eight by being McLarens test driver, and therefore not being able to participate in the race, than that is damn impressive and shows the total dominance by McLaren

    I mean BMW.
Webber's car will break down, causing a small accident with Ralfieboy...hence Ralfieboy retires.
    Hehe..

Re: Who Will Win at Monza, Dr. Phil?

I knew you'd have plenty to say but that was Trulli a great post.
    11) DC megajaw. Does well in the Red Bull racer

Those were great. Did you see the post on the Boxster Board about my engine being replaced Dr. Phil? They may have it solved. Seems I had one of a special bunch of Boxsters that had the engines assembled by the McLaren F1 team.

As you said, don't underestimate the power of the dark side (Forza Ferrari)

Even though Ferrari is struggling this season, I still like to see them do well, even if they do represent the dark side of F1.
I hope to see a McLaren 1-2 this weekend. They've been robbed of that honor this season. I thought they would finally get one a couple weeks ago, but no such luck.

A 1-2 finish will depend on Juan the Tennis Player and the Kimi the Waterboy getting their act together and driving a whole race without a incident. And throw the brilliant team lead by SauRon into the equation and and the chances of a 1-2 looks slim to none. They may not be able to fit a wheelnut properly on the car, but have you seen their new uniforms? They are very cool...
