I absolutely LOVE IT, the manual transmission looks excellent....may be the interior (red leather) its too much, but the car is a beauty...

Do you have more pics ? One showing more of the side/ front of the car with the front CCM's ?

Getting the Rosso Scud calipers was smart with the Rosso Scud paint. When the Rosso Scuderia Stradale's first came out you could only get Rosso Corsa calipers (that's why some of the guys had black) and I've seen cars with Scud and corsa that don't match. The interior has more red then I'd like personally but its a very bold move. I've been seriously considering a black and red interior instead of all black with red stitching. I just cant think of which parts would look good in black and which in red. I don't want the Dodge Viper Mamba look. Also been thinking about racing seats in Alcantara AND leather. I've seen Stradales with Alcantara on the seat bottom and seat back with the bottom and side bolsters in leather and it looks amazing. Functional too ! Meridan Automotive customized a yellow Stradale with the Black Alcantara / black leather seats and it looked sick ! It would be really interesting to see the interior above with more black. Maybe black carpet, black door rests and black center tunnel - like an Enzo look.

Geez in that color with those rims that car looks a lot like a Stradale. From the same side :

Overpriced and outdated, as it is only CD-based and has no screen for routes, maps etc.

Sooner or later we will see only stand alone systems, I guess (in case of what Ferrari offers, this is already now the BEST solution).

It's not the missing screen (I'm not the biggest fan of big screens occupying the whole centre console, though I like the solution in the 997), but the fact that it is only CD-based. Really outdated IMO. 996/SL are older cars, F430 is brand new, it deserves a DVD solution.
But you're absolutely right about the cup holders, although they are by far not as popular over here in Europe.

Totally agree....as long as it's a DVD-based nav w/o a big screen, that would be great.

Rossi, it takes hard work to become&remain obese...gotta keep loading self w/calories as many hrs of day as possible

....that's why US buyers are often so obsessed w/cupholders, to fit those big, high-calorie drinks

Rossi that is why I opted not to have the shields on my Yellow Spider. The Nav system is something I have difficulty understanding as an option. It is a high performance sport car and not a sedan.

Really like the specs on this 430....esp scud red, CCM and sport seats

Don't know if that much scud red in the interior is a bit of overload.

Also, as much as I liked the CS-style wheels on the 360CS, they are, after all, last yr's news and hide the magnificent scud red CCM calipers.

The CS-style wheels are optically ideal for covering up the girlie-sized non-CCM brakes.

If you go with the CCM, the airy standard wheel is by far the best solution.

But that is the beauty of versatile sports cars like the 430 and the 997, they are thoroughbreads when you want to and they are great travelling cruising cars when you to, and that's when the Sat Nav becomes handy.
Or also when you decide to take on twisties where ever they lead you and once you're tired, just put in your home address.

It's not a must have but it's a nice feature, in any kind of car. Depends what you want to do with your car ultimately.

I see the pics have got some dialogue going

I've asked the owner to send some more interior shots and will post on arrival. The Sat Nav is aftermarket i believe, a Pioneer .

I like 430's nav feature....doesn't really add weight/microwave oven to dash, yet, for ex, when faced w/a traffic jam on fwy going from SF to Napa/PebbBch or LA to Montecito, can chart new route on-the-fly. And, if want to take 430 for a mtg dwn in SilicVy, can pgm dest and work the "mobile office function" of 430, chatting on Bluetooth-enabled spkrphone during the less-engaging portions of the drive....

That wouldn't bother me. As long as the paint and the calipers match. The shields are the same color as the Ferrari emblums. That's what they're supposed to match. You wouldn't leave off the Ferrari emblum, I wouldn't leave off the sheilds. The shields are a must have imo.

Curious if factory-painted wheels are becoming more common in Europe? Have some pals waiting for US-spec 430s w/factory-painted wheels (on blk/blk cars).....and noticed that FXXX shown at PebbBch had matte blk wheels w/red lip and chrome F horsey(no yell bckgd) at wheel cap....very intriguing....
