Techart, Gemballa or Cargraphic should be taken in consideration.

thanks for the link - cool page and parts but senseless for us germans cuz we need streetlegal papers for such parts.
RC, Cargraphic haven`t finished their system yet and I agree
to hear the diff systems first buts a long way to the south of germany just to hear some sounds.
Didn`t anyone hear some from the german offered systems?

I was able to listen to a Gemballa system and it sounded nice.
But it is really difficult to tell which one is best because regarding exhaust sounds, people have personal preferences.
If the Cayenne is a family car, be careful not to get too much noise and especially resonance inside the interior of the car, your wife and kids won't appreciate it.

Well it certainly is a matter of individual preference. I will agree with Cay in that I was a little disappointed with the exhaust sound as well. It has a throaty, rapid staccato voice of a recent vintage American pushrod V8, as in a Corvette or Mustang. Old American V8's did not sound like this so I'm not sure what is being done to produce the effect. There is likely some marketing research that says this sound is what we really want and expect in a V8. Personally I would like more of a lower pitched rumble and less of the throaty effect and actually keep the overall sound level the same.

Austin,
this may be a good apologize for the industry but the fact is that near all new cars & motorcycles are castrated in sound & noise totally. I think the real reason are restrictions from law.
When you hear the new GT3 you don`t believe that you hear a street legal racecar. Even my motorbike sound more than a kitchen machine...
good times for tuners :-)
