Sounds very interesting.
How is the G class to drive (ex G55) quality etc.?
Any info about pricing, how limited production is.
I was planning to buy a Cayenne Turbo, but this could be an alternative altough it doesn`t have the on road capabilities of the Cayenne.
The G55 in black looks really good though.
First at all, the G-class (especially the newer overworked one) is a better off-roader than the Cayenne, no doubt about it.
I don't have information about production numbers of the G600 but I've been told that it will be a very limited production on a "first come, first serve" basis.
But I'm pretty sure that it is possible to get a G600 built on demand if cost is no issue for you.
AMG already built a G55 K with 500 HP for testing purposes but I'm not sure that such a car went to a customer yet.
Well, regarding handling and drive feel, I bet the Cayenne Turbo is much better than the G600. The G-class feels heavier than my ML55 AMG and I'm sure that it won't change too much with the G600. The Cayenne Turbo feels like a high power limousine, the weight is "covered" pretty good by the Cayenne Turbo's suspension/steering setup.
I also bet that the Cayenne Turbo is actually slightly faster than the G600 but if I think about 800 Nm of torque in a G-class, I get wet eyes.
Finally, the price tag of the G600? Well, I can make a guess only. Expect at least 150000 Euro but even more than 200000 Euro could be possible. So yes, the Cayenne Turbo probably is the better deal.
