    About to order C4S Cab - need some advice

    This will be my first P, so words of advice would be helpful. I'm ordering Artic Silver, full leather Terracota and black top. Major options are:
    power kit
    adaptive sport seats
    navigation
    Bose Sound system
    Sport Chrono
    Sport shifter
    Rear Center console in aluminum look
    Door entry SS
    CD changer
    TPMS
    Sun visors in leather
    Sport steering wheel
    Wheel spacers
    Carrera Classic wheels
    Heated Seats
    Porsche Crest in seats
    Am I missing something that I will regret?
    Any other leather options would add more appeal? Which?

    I'd add instrument surround and door finishers in leather as they're both pretty cheap. I'm not fond of the sport shifter. I think it requires too much effort to shift. I think I'd go for the center console in Artic Silver to match the exterior rather than aluminum look to match the gauges but that's a close call. Good luck. Artic and Terracotta is one of my favorites.

    I would go with the leather center console and S rims- the rest sounds awesome!

    The list price is $127K. I have not negotiated yet, but I'm assuming I'll get a little break. I'll let you when it's all done.

    Looks good except I agree that the center console should be painted Arctic, I also like the S wheels for a cab, and also I don't think the Bose upgrade is worth it. Otherwise looks good, congrats

    I agree with SVN...if you ahve the terracotta interior, get the console in leather too, not arctic or aluminum.

    I'm baised about the Carrera classics (since I have them on my 987S), but I think they are the correct wheels for the cab, while the S wheels look better on a coupe... Just my opinion.

    Looks like you've got the whole enchilada here. The only thing I see missing is PSE, I really like the sound difference. The other suggestion is to get black floor mats. Another Renn poster - tooner has silver/terracotta cab and he has black floor mats, breaks it up a bit. You can see pic's of his at the post "I caved in..." I saw it live on Saturday, very nice combo. Otherwise, sounds like a great set up.

    If PSE isn't incld in power kit, I'd order PSE. May want to also consider: thicker sport steering wheel; upgraded leath/alum shifter/handbrake; if sport seat backs can be painted, may want to have them painted AS; and silver-colored seat belts....also, blk mats (as others sugg'd) are great to break up monotony.....also, consider blk leather dash if sensitive to reflections off light colors....

    Thank you all for the feedback. I'm still having trouble figuring out which are the most critical leather options. I'm ordering full leather, the sunvisors and considering the rear center console. Are there 2 or 3 more that would make the car look special?

    Before ordering the rear center console in leather try to find a car that has that installed to see it in the flesh. It looks very good on a first glance, but the bottom part of it will be covered by a protection film like a clear bra. That looks ridiculous on the leather and leads the whole thing of having fine leather here for the look and feel ad absurdum. The film protects the leather against scratches from moving seats and seat belt locks. Actually, I'm thinking about getting the film removed in my car, if that is possible at all without damaging the leather. My seats don't touch the console in any place and the factory already installed some cloth pads on the seat belt locks. So, I don't see a reason to keep the film.

    besides the rear center console I didn't take any other leather options. Hmm, ok, I ordered the thicker sports steering wheel with smooth leather. That comes with leather covered airbag plate. And I'm really glad I got that option. Apart from the looks it feels very, very good in the hands.
    I also considered sun visors and the roof. But after seeing the standard sun visors and the standard roof, I was quite happy with them.
    Now, that I have the car a few weeks the only thing that comes to my mind is leather covered seat belt locks. But that is just because the locks are black and my interior is grey. So, the plastic locks really stand out that they wouldn't with black interior.

    Yes, now you can have the PCM covered in leather ( CUR )and check also out option XNS

    Get the door finishers for $360 and the instrument surround for $260. They're too cheap to not get.
