That's certainly what Maserati called it in the 80's (pronounced "bee-turbo")

Yes, I believe "BITurbo" is the Italian derivative of "bilateral turbines"

    Re: italian for "twin turb"

Actually its "bi" by itself, its the same in spanish, the "bi" is a prefix that stands for two as in bi-cycle, bi-polar, bi-lateral, bi-turbo, etc. then comes "tri" for three as tri-athalon, tri-pod, then "penta" for four as in penta-gon, etc. and so on, they are numerals that come from the greek and are used as prefixes in latin languages. However, I like the sound of Turbino Twinissimo better

How very insightful, my good man.
*Did you know that "Volvo" means "roll onwards" in latin?
*Did you know that FIAT means "I fart" in Nbakkalele - the ancient tribal language of Tonga?
    * Did you know that "Ferrari" means "your wife eats dung" in certain parts of Peru?
    * Did you know that "Cayenne" is not only an Indian tribe and a pepper, but also means "He who goes by the name Carlos is bi-peeing against the bi-wind and hence wetting himself unwillingly" in Galapagese?

Yep, I saw some of it.
Unfortunately he ended up 4th after Schumi, Monty and Trulli.
Monty is looking very strong at the moment, but both Mercs are faster than anything, so I guess if Kimis car lasts he could take the win.

Girlieman is further back, but ready to win if all the others break down....

    Re: italian for "twin turb"

No, No....FIAT means "Fix It Again Tony".

    Re: italian for "twin turb"

The McLaren's are the fastest cars as usual but I'm betting on Montoya, he is a bit more "reliable"... though I'd never thought I'd say that about Montoya

Given his qualifying lap today I think Schummi is going for a 7 pit stop strategy either that or the tires he chose were softer than marshmellows... lets see at what lap he turns in to fuel or if his tires last a full race. I still remember Williams publicity stunt at Monaco, running the qualifying with barely any fuel to make the headlines for publicity.

Looks like the Renaults are not working well in Hungary, they have been having setup problems during the weekend and their poor qualifying reflects that, even if Alonso didn't make the mistake on the last curve in qualifying he would of only made 5th at most. Even so, Alonso always makes the most of what he has so maybe a podium still.

So its going to an interesting race, the way qualifying ended up problem is, there is barely any passing at this track, its all going to be made at the pit stops

    Re: italian for "twin turb"

The qualifying shocked me today. This must be another creative Ferrari strategy. I can't wait for the race tomorrow.

Yes, the Italian word for twin turbo is biturbo. I think the use biturbo in German also.

I think it shocked everyone including Schumi. Tough track for passing so grid position is crucial. It will be interesting to see how many laps worth of fuel he was carrying. Ferrari is usually the best when it comes to race strategy.

    you believe right, sorry my typo ... 1* mono-synaptic reflex, 2* bi-polar neuron, 3* tri-genial nerve, 4* quad-ratus lumborum muscle or tetra-paresis, 5* penta-gon,...

    Re: italian for "twin turb"

Don't forget the movie "Octopussy" in which James Bond dates eight women.
