I was thinking also why has Kimi's blown engine 6 times this year and Montoya's none whatsoever
They have the fastest car in the line-up but it can't be at the expense of reliability. Renault may be slower and a tougher ttime trying to make the most of it but they are playing it safely and it pays off in the end.
Alonso said earlier before the race that the McLarens were unbeatable here and his tactic would be try to follow Kimi with his Renault and keep pressing Kimi as hard as he could in order to force him to make a mistake or break engine (Kimi pushed this same engine really hard last GP). And thats just what happened.
Incredible race by Montoya, if it weren't for his mistake in qualifying and Kimi's engine problems, it would of been a clear 1-2 finish for McLaren IMO.

Kimi needs a rev limiter
The engine cannot be blaimed, since Montoya has an identical one and he hasn't had a failure all year.
