    F1 again

    Kimi needs a rev limiter
The engine cannot be blaimed, since Montoya has an identical one and he hasn't had a failure all year.

    Re: F1 again

I was thinking also why has Kimi's blown engine 6 times this year and Montoya's none whatsoever

They have the fastest car in the line-up but it can't be at the expense of reliability. Renault may be slower and a tougher ttime trying to make the most of it but they are playing it safely and it pays off in the end.

Alonso said earlier before the race that the McLarens were unbeatable here and his tactic would be try to follow Kimi with his Renault and keep pressing Kimi as hard as he could in order to force him to make a mistake or break engine (Kimi pushed this same engine really hard last GP). And thats just what happened.

Incredible race by Montoya, if it weren't for his mistake in qualifying and Kimi's engine problems, it would of been a clear 1-2 finish for McLaren IMO.

    Wow, Carlos! My words exactly!
    You're finally seeing the light.
The McLarens are unbeatable and Allabando has to hope for them to break down to win.
If that isn't the sorriest potential World Champ ever...
"I won because the better drivers had unreliable gear, and I just fumbled along hoping they would break down so I could steal the victory".
    What a hero.

I'm very much aware that build quality is just as important as driving skills.
But when it comes to being the world champ, I would hope the best man won...not the second or third best with less crappy gear.

But I'm glad you realize that Albadahondo and Kimi are in different leagues.
Heck, even Labadonza realizes that as far as I can tell from your quote.

Keep it up, youre on the right track!
Now we just need to see if we can get you to let go of that irrational spanish patriotism

Perhaps Montoya had no problems today because he had a fresh car after totaling his in qualifying, but Kimi's problems have been of wide variety. They are definitely not all his fault; I heard his last fried engine was so damaged that they could barely do diagnostics on it. Well, as I predicted a few weeks ago, the lack of reliability on the part of McLaren-Merc has done them over. I can only hope that Kimi doesn't bolt because once they iron out a few kinks, next year should be theirs...

    Re: F1 again

I see you are not taking it too well Dr.Phil, just face the facts

    ... here this will help

    Re: F1 again

Hurst, I think Kimi and Jenson will be the Ferrari drivers next year. Winning is great fun but big pay checks can compensate for a lot and Ferrari spends the most.

    Re: F1 again

    Carlos, you're great!
