LOL Sorry Mike... yeah, been a bit busy taking road trips in my P amd planning some other trips in Europe later in the summer/fall, etc. I will try to pop myself in here more often.. btw, saw some of the pics you posted on another post of S. Africa. Your country looks beautiful!

lol, that's what i should be doing too! but my time unfortunately doesn't allow that

and to answer your question, yes i scuba, not so often unfortunately, i'm a qualified open water level 1 diver lol

Thank you for the info gnil! Can't wait to see pics of your car! I'd love to visit sometime- looks/sounds amazing! We have a lot of White Sharks here on the central coast. A cage dive would be incredible.

Hey... I'm a certified diver too, although I'm not sure I'd want to dive without that cage down there with all the sharks... but hey, I'm used to the sharks on land as well, so maybe I can hit them in the nose with my air tank to send them scurring away from me :P
Also, I was going to say the same thing that the coastline there in S. Africa looks very similar to the coastline in central to northern California... gorgeous. I'd love to visit sometime Mike... maybe I should add that to my list of places to see

Hey Mike, where do you live? I am getting ready for my second trip to SA in Sept. JoBurg or Cape Town? When I return from SA my 997 Cab should be here. I know that Rennteamers would love to take a ride in the bush with the wild animals, much like Jeana has been doing here in this thread. I think she is a animal trainer. Seems she has control here!!!

lol dan!! here are some pics from the kruger national park, you can get up to 1metre away of the animals!! just don't be stupid and prod them with stuff haha.
there's not all that much to do in jo'burg to be honest, the coast and the north-eastern part of SA(where the kruger park is) are the good parts if you're coming to visit!

Mike, I visited Londolozi tree camp last time I was there. As much as I love driving cars this had to be one of the greatest thrills of my life. I am going to another camp with tents this time. I can't remember the name at this time, but we are also visiting Victoria Falls. I think SA is one of the most beautiful countries I have visited.

Oh Mike, probably a stupid question... are those African or Asian? Their ears appear to be smaller, that's why I ask.

Wow, you guys have caught my interest now... this sounds like a fantastic trip, between the wildlife, sharks, beautiful scenery, great people, and extraordinary cars...
