    Help with C4S Cab

    I'm trying to decide on color scheme and options for a C4S Cab. I'm considering GT Silver/Black Top or Slate Grey/Black top. In either case I'm thinking of the interior in Black/Terracota combination.
    In terms of options, Power Kit, PSE (it sounds like it may be included in the power kit), sport chrono,sport seats, thicker leather wheel, navigation, Bose sound system, leather sun visor. Trying to decide on leather switch panel, instrument leather, rear center leather (or body paint?).
    Any suggestions or advice?

    When you get Black/Terracotta interior, which parts are each color?

    From the pictures I've seen, the instrument panel at the top and the upper part of the door panels are in black. The seats and around the radio seem to be terracota.

    I like GT Silver but I love Slate. They probably both go well with Black/Terracotta. There's some pix around of a Slate/Terracotta car and I liked that combo very much.

    GT Silver is awesome , it brings out the logos and the alloys with brilliant contrasting effect..

    Now, that the Cabs have been announced I really need to make some decisions. This will be my first Porsche. Any insights about the options?

    You already selected all the must-have options

    I'd take the adaptative sport seats instead of the regular sport seats.

    As for the rear console painted in exterior color, a slate on full terracota combo looks great, but I fear it might clash if you go for the black-terracota interior (too many different colors). So, go for the leather rear console. It is indeed expensive, but it looks awesome. Much better than the stock plastic rear console.

    For the same reason, I'd go for the leather switch panel / air vents as well, since I do not know how the black-silver-terracota transition looks like "in flesh".
    (a leather PCM faceplate would help tremendously, too, if available)

    Oh, and if you're going for slate, you *MUST* take painted wheels. Too bad they don't do painted Carrera Classics, though

    Question : With the "leather switch panel / air vents" which pieces are leather ? Does that mean the silver piece that holds the air vent slats becomes leather ?

    Also what option do you have to order to get aluminum around the nav. screen ? On my 997 S cab the finish around the nav. screen is darker then the air vents, door pulls etc. For my next car I want the same finish around the nav. screen that is used around the air vents and cup holder strip. Is there an option for this ?

    Porsche calls this option "switch panel in leather", but it's mostly the air vents, as you can see on the Car Configurator.

    The PCM face plate (nav screen) is painted in "Vulcan Grey". You actually get the same color on the air vents, door pulls etc if you get a non-S.
    Unfortunately, you cannot get the PCM face plate in Alu Design (silver paint), unless as an Exclusive option. I think you might get one from Eric, though (http://www.bumperplugs.com)

    IMHO the bi-color option is great. Light colors such as terracota, stone grey or sand beige are nice, but they cause disturbing reflections on the windshield.
    Which getting the upper half of the dashboard black solves. What I am worried about however, is potential color clashes in an interior with so many different colors.

    Come to think of it, with the black/grey interior, the sides of the seats are black; but not so with the black/terracota interior. I don't know about the black/beige one.
