Grant:BONES:7:03 with the kit official time

Better than my guess (beyond the half-way point between GT3 and GT4 RS without MR). MR kit saves 6 seconds where it only saved 4 seconds on the GT3

Interestingly it lost 5km/hr top speed, from 285km/hr down to 280km/hr. But it it carrying much more speed going into the last straight, Dotting Hohe, like an extra 20km/hr.
Looks like the MR kit was able to nearly double downforce, so a significant part of the improvement:

Downforce (and suspension) at work

It looks like it's on rails, much more planted than the regular RS. That said, visually that bigger rear wing is hard to swallow on the already challenging design of the GT4 RS.

mcdelaug:It’s nice to see the 6s improvement, but frankly, Porsche has probably gotten the balance of downforce and appearance right. I would like to know what could be achieved with just an MR track alignment compared to stock…
I had Manthey do the alignment on my 992 GT3 and they did a brilliant job. Huge subjective improvement. I wasn’t even timing my laps, so can’t give any objective improvement numbers though.

Feeling confident in the car is a huge part of improving your personal time, but it’s probably safe to say that it’s going to be just a little better than the stock time.
And the last 2 build photos came today:
Maybe the wing is absent because it requires separate painting (hood stripe present)? It also appears that the carbon fiber window triangles, front splitter and GT4RS decals are still absent. You can see that the “production complete” date is on the windshield as July 18, which is what my TYD shows. So maybe these items get applied a little later?
mcdelaug:Thanks Nick! TYD says August 15, but it’s not the most accurate.
One month
Perfect time to have it (finish break-in and still have nice Fall months to enjoy)

I have a simple question… Why doesn’t Porsche make the Carmine interior available on the GT4RS and the Sea Blue interior available on the Spyder RS? They share the grey interior, and the colored ones are identical (or essentially so) in terms of pattern. I ask because I’d really like to spec a Spyder RS in white with the Sea Blue interior.
So my production complete date in TYD has slipped to Sept 6. There have been posts on RL that painting hood and wing stripes are backing up. Some RL posters have assembly photos with CF hoods and wings but no stripes (stripe was ordered), one has a non-RS hood (placeholder apparently) and one has an unstriped CF hood but no wing (stripe was ordered). As far as things go, at least I have a striped CF hood… New delivery date now mid October.

That looks like a quality build, are you considering modifying yours?

As appealing as this conversion may be, it would be wasted with my skills. I am currently attempting to master my GT4 RS with the MR setup, which suffices to me.
I am back from 5 days at the Ring. I did the MR base setup. It is an improvement over the stock, specially the back turns in quicker, but it is not a big difference. When I did the set up on my GT3RS the difference was huge. Felt like a different car. Not so with the GT4 RS. I still don't really understand why they don't offer anymore the ''advanced'' front camber mod. Now you need to have the full suspension change if you want that.
Came across this nice looking 4RS

You are aware that you just replied to your own question in basically the same sentence?

Whose signature is that?
In stock form, Porsche pretty much maximized the potential of the car. There aren't too much that they have left on the table. The GT4RS already has the best turn in for the 991/Cayman platform.
