I guess you can't really blame them if they can get away with such an overinflated pricetag, but what amazes me is that they can get away with it... there needs to be more competition guess...
Honestly, I don't get it. Maybe the current economic situation is a reason for that. Many wealthy people (I'm not talking about the super rich or wealthy car enthusiasts) don't know where to invest their money and/or they don't trust stocks, investments, real estate, etc., so they buy nice cars. Not necessarily always as an investment but just to enjoy life because they cannot get any returns (interest rates, etc.) anyway...at least this is what they think. In the end, I think that this price bubble will implode and it will also affect used car prices a lot at some point.
