    The river is coming up, but the high mountains haven't begun to melt yet, the flood should be extreme.

    12 miles in, 6 from the jump off, the slides get big across the track. 2 hours back the road impassable with snow, but so fun to be in.

    Stoned on the King AIR, the breeder smartly gave him a tranq. as very little car experience - except the negative of going to the vet - and first plane flight.

    It is with great sadness that we announce that last night Sun Ra returned to her God, 13 years 4 months.

    In her dotage, she fell off a low bridge 12 miles upstream hiking yesterday, and following her bark it took me an hour to bushwhack through the willows and find her, still able to recognize me and stop barking.  An hour more to get her up the bank and into the truck, no legs working at all.

    At home she ate and drank, but looking off into the distance and returned in the night.  A wonderful spirit!

    SHE DIED WITH HER BOOTS ON.
