Still awaiting the car but it appears with this new Savage Geese video that the Z08 is the all-around better car than the 992 GT3. https://youtu.be/zUqDKZEf_FA

GT2RS, it is called.
touché!
now if they could engineer both without those hideous ricer wings, I'd buy them!
Well then we're right back at the discussion and the pics of the GT2RS with the removed wing and just the ducktail.

Gnil:Corvette is just trying to sell their cars at ''european'' prices. Not a good idea. Just like when Honda tries to sell their NSX as '' european '' prices. It does not work in that segment .
My Trackhawk was 136k EUR...officially. Got it for 96k.
US manufacturers never understood that the only way to sell their cars through official channels is a good service and a good price. The Grand Cherokee SRT was available (for a year or so) for businesses only for 64k EUR, fully loaded. It was a bargain at that time compared to the competition. Unfortunately the quality sucked and service was pretty bad as well.
GM never fully went in to the European/EU market, only in Switzerland (maybe?) but did they ever care???
Neither Tesla nor GM or Stellantis (Chrysler/Jeep) seem to care about the quality of their cars and the service here in Europe. So weird. I don't get it.

Europeans are known to not be super interested with American cars due to high consumption petrol engines...Why Manufacturers will bother to pay crazy money for certifications specific to EU market while the car won't sell much unless they change the engine?

I think that US manufacturers missed a HUGE market by just...ignoring it and offering only high displacement high consumption engines.
Just imagine a mid engined supercar for around 100k EUR with the Trackhawk (Hellcat) engine? Never understood why this never happened. Instead they flooded the EU markets with the Challenger/Charger Hellcat for 65k EUR or so...what a shame. This car can't put it's power down up to 100 mph, pretty much worthless, unless you love being "all over the place" in a car.
GM did right with the new Corvette...they basically improved everything, with the exception of the design maybe .
Ford with the Mustang? Again, what a shame. The Ford GT was amazing, a cheaper version with the supercharged Mustang V8 would have been a fantastic car.

These cars are already a niche in US so no point to push further for these manufacturers. it is sad but their strategy is very different than the general thinking of the petrolheads from this forum. We are a very strange breed of humans for majority of the population and mainstream manufacturers.

I was going to say the Corvette Z06 for $106k (in US before options) is more interesting for many sports car guys than a 7 Liter Hellcat engine. But I agree the styling (and lack of manual) is not for me...

The styling is not entirely bad, but it’s frustratingly close to being good while missing the mark. If the rear was a touch lower and the rear overhand was a bit shorter, the proportions would work much better.
Styling is subjective. To me, often I mistaken a Z06 for a Ferrari. I would wager that a majority of people couldn't distinguish a Z06 from a Ferrari if the Z06 had a Ferrari fender badge. One time while fueling my Ferrari in a gas station, two guys approached my car and told me it was a great looking Mustang (they saw the prancing horse). So it goes.

Nick, you’ve got too much style to be a Mustang driver

The 6.2 l Hellcat engine is a treat...very underappreciated in the sportscar world, maybe because it has always been used in the "wrong" cars...
