An update on the 4WD mountain track situation:
We shall see how these go and report. As soon as the TRX is fixed, it's gone, and I'm canceling my order on my second TRX. We've added a Ford Expiation xlt - the only large suv with low range which has been a great Lab machine, but of course it's not for Way Back In.

I can almost guarantee you in August it won't snow more than 2" at my place and melt the next day when it's 90F.
The paddocks are quietly melting away - gone from 4' deep to only 1.5' deep in 2 weeks -- Spring!!
Btw, here's the Expedition with low range, a very handy Lab machine. removed the folding seat behind the driver so they can get in and out with ease. Blizzaks in winter so great for Nordic, no hiking use in summer as not a Way Back In machine, but all the accessible jump offs are fine.

Me too, but it's a long way in with our snow, skiing maybe 12 hours, so we'll wait a month or so. 2 1/2 hours yesterday
The LC has plenty off room for 5 Labs [mid May Sulla arrives] with the rear seats removed
Good choice Watt...... 200 series Land Cruiser - the perfect "dog mobile" for us....3rd row rear seats came out the day I brought it home in 2015. 4 previous 100 series - also great vehicles. So far nothing else scratches the itch . 300 series not coming to the USA so far. Been 100% reliable.

Yes, it's the rig.
With my heritage, I removed the back seats, for max Labs room. My only complaints - low head room getting in, limited storage spaces and lots of buttons! unloading the trx, I took out gear I forgot was in there - saw, axe, rifles, etc....
even though this pic is distorted you can see the LC is one foot narrower, which is key for my tracks -- much less damage.
The trx finally clean now gone for sale and my second one cancelled. the LC gets its Toyos today too
