Hate to agree with Toto but he made the right call, Hamilton was losing focus constantly complaining about the car and focusing on others getting a penalty for track limits, playing the victim, etc... not a productive mental state, and he needed that message from Toto to try to snap him out of it and focus on what he needs to be doing like Russell did all race.

Imo next year they could police the track limits during qualifying where it's easier and not in the race, after all if it's not done to gain a position there is less harm done than the circus it caused last Sunday.

TBH... I really don't enjoy F1 that much anymore! I am watching F1 since 1991... and I love it, but this is getting very very boring. There Is no thrill anymore in watching the race, sure its not the first time that a team dominates, but Perez is just sooo bad that even internally there is no action.

I watched the Austrian Grand Prix followed much later in the evening by the NASCAR Chicago race. The race in Chicago was entertaining with the second place finisher starting from last place. He led the race for several laps before being boldly passed by the winner, a three time Australian Supercar Champion who had never raced in NASCAR before. I will definitely attend this race next year.

I also watched some bits of the NASCAR race. I like how close to each other they always are. Lots of action. Very entertaining through those Chicago streets. And I even start to like the oval races.

The McLarens seem to be the new Aston Martins! I'm happy for Lando.

The Astons have seem to lost that advantage they had at the beginning and starting to faid and fall behind, and the MB's are hit and miss depending a lot on the track?

Lando driver of the day with 45% of the votes, well deserved, what a drive. So happy for him and in his home GP, was great to hear the crowd cheer him on.

It's getting tiring to hear Hamilton whine and complain all the time about everything ffs...

Vettel saying that the last stint what more difficult than he would of liked... maybe he rather have the rest of the drivers drive with one hand behind their back too so it's even easier for him, cause he already is driving a F1 among a bunch of F2 cars.

And he doesn't deserve to be #2, he is just as good as Max, and would probably come out winning if they were team mates since I see Lando stronger mentally with greater ability to deal with frustration than Max, and therefore more consistent and with less mistakes and better decisions under pressure. One thing is to race with a n°2 slower teammate in a car that only needs to be driven 8/10 to win because it's leagues above all the rest of the grid, another is to have a teammate just as fast as you taking the spotlight with a car just as fast as yours.

I would really hope to see a good driver next to Max in the RedBull as it would surely bring some action back to the season, and I think Lando is as good as Max and could challenge him for the title with the same car. The only thing is that I don't see RedBull doing that as they really want a clear No. 2 driver and Lando is not going to play that role. I must say I really had some hopes in the British GP to see a new winner this year but unfortunately it was not the case. Anyhow... we are stuck with a mighty RedBull/Max combination, and that kills the season... I just hope that next season there will be some competition as this season is over....
