I realize that the US market seems to get one car per dealer only but I'm not so sure about the German market:
Yesterday, another sales person called me (basically the same dealership but they have different locations), I talked to him months ago (even forgot about it) about the M3 CS.
Well, he offered me a M3 CS. Delivery this year (I asked him when and he said this year, he has no more details). He just told me that I need to decide fast, latest next week.
My wild guess is: The base price of 146k EUR in Germany (around 160k with all options) puts off a lot of potential customers. However: Once the car will be reviewed (YouTubers, car magazines, CarWow drag races, etc.), things will change.
So far, I assume that the M3 CS isn't in high demand in Germany but this can change fast once the media presence increases.

If you know German, worth watching.
What you see in the video are basically the race car mods for the M4 GT3 engine. Looks more like a big office because BMW is using for their M4 GT3 cars the stock engine, NO internal mods. Zero. 😱
Engine is good for 20000 racing kms without any revision. 😱
590 hp for racing usage, very reliable engine up to 700 hp (over 800 are possible without new turbo chargers).
Very impressive.

I am certainly in the minority, but I like the beaver teeth (iX, 7, M3). Strong statement. I prefer the M3 front to the normal 3. (But do not like busy hood)
In France, the lamps used to be yellow too, if I remember correctly. Why were they changed to white? What are the advantages of yellow/white?

That s right. All cars in France used to have yellow lights. It was supposed to be better than white lamps in fog conditions, France has many areas with fog specially in autumn. When the EU got commun rules for cars homologation they had to drop it. Probably it also did not make anymore sense since lights got also better.

I need a sporty daily driver and I like the whole package. 
My Z4 M40i has been flawless so far, it is fun to drive, very powerful (the engine has 340 hp on paper but mine is closer to 400, 100 to 200 kph in 10 seconds flat) and I got the chance to get one of the first M3 CS, so... 
There is nothing out there better in this domain, the new C63 AMG E Performance is a joke and Audi has nothing either. The new RS 6 Performance is too big for me and too heavy and also costs a bit more.
Also, this car will go to my son once he finishes university. I promised it to him (well, in around 6-7 years, so... ).
No lease.

BMW uses them for their motorsport cars, it is kind of a design gimmick but I like them a lot, they look great on an all black car. 
Could be a new trend, don't know.
Funny, my daughter says the headlights look dirty with the yellow lights, she doesn't like it.

I like the M3 front a lot but only with the German style (wide) license plate.
I also like the new XM styling, many seem to hate it.

These are CSL part numbers but they are mostly interchangeable, the wheels are not the bronze ones (I have the part numbers of those if someone needs th

The titanium exhaust parts are missing...the exhaust system is also different than the one of the M3 Competition xDrive.

Not sure how much it would cost to retrofit, probably not cheap, also not sure if it would be street legal in Germany for example because of the certification (depends on what BMW allows and what not, also if the airbags still work properly).

I just went through hell over the past two years and no, nobody really knows what happened (I know there is a lot of speculation) and what I had to endure mentally, there was nothing normal or usual about it. Crazy story I can only share face to face.
