Confirmed by Porsche of Oklahoma.
This Porsche dealership has gotten into prepping older Cayennes for off road use and is now a dealer for Eurowise Cayenne lift kits etc.. They are also building a Cayman Safari like rallye car.
'Jim where is P of OK? I see Tulsa and OK City. I'm coming down to Ardmore soon to get my fifth Lab from a breeder there, and perhaps I should have them build me an off road 911 -- who should I talk to? thanks

A sharp observer of the rear photo might notice that the "911 Dakar" emblem is missing. It was removed during the paint protection film application and didn't survive. It took quite a while for the position template to arrive at the dealer from PAG so they could re-install the new emblem.
Here's a shot from the dealer proving it was all better.

Is that PTS Meissen Blue? I have that on order and Porsche is still shuffling PTS slot for me.
nberry:Mike, how do you plan to use this car? Your garage is well represented with Porsche’s. Is it an investment?
It's a very comfortable car (18-way sofas) to drive. On a recent break-in cruise, the trip display showed 30 MPG which quite surprised me. Way better than the window sticker data. Since there are only 2500 examples, it shouldn't depreciate too much (or at all). Part storage of value, part fun cruiser.
It will be perfect for some interesting-road tours put together by a local specialist who claims his country-road routes are all paved. Paved ... in what century???? The last one of his tours caused me to never drive the 918 on one again. This car would be perfect, especially since I had a full-body paint protection film applied. The tires don't seem to give up as much performance as one might have expected. Quite nice in the corners.
Here we are in touring form when we drove a scenic route from Cincinnati to Augusta, KY for lunch and then to Liberty, IN for a Chaîne des Rôtisseurs picnic and wine event. The only off-road phase was the long gravel road to the picnic location. What a cloud of lime-stone dust!!
The photo is from the Kentucky town along the Ohio river (crossed via ferry) where we stopped for lunch. The Dakar's excellent approach and departure angles made the ferry on-and-off easy. The bikers were having a good-weather day.
