The autobahn needs to be empty and no cars in the slow right lanes to do this. Then it is ok. But overtaking people at these speed differentials is dangerous. Sorry, i love the autobahns and regularly visit my mother in law in north germany, but more than 280 kmh is hard to justify. Even regular flow doesnt tend to allow you to go more than 200/220 kmh during the day as there are always slow vehicles coming over in to the left lane so it is a lot of acceleration/ braking most of the time. But if early morning and no one there, fine. Maybe RC can confirm this but i think all curves on the autobahn not sign posted for slower speeds are designed for 200kmh?

I still happen to believe people in the world buy german cars because they are designed at a higher spec, also for the autobahns. I think this has helped to provide a lot of global demand for german cars and a lot of very well paying jobs, which is great for the economy. I hope the greens in their zeal dont change this…. Politicians are very good in not understanding what drives their economies so lets see….

It was Passione Engadina, Bugatti was kind of invited as special guest and they brought the Bolide. Other Bugatti customers showed their cars as well. La voiture noire was there. Furthermore, a promiment Swss car collector showed roughly five of his Bugattis (Divo, Centodieci, Veyron and older stuff as well). Just google Passione Engadina, there are many many pics on the internet.
