OFF TOPIC. Are there any RENNTEAM stickers available?

Guys - I'm sure most of you would agree that the Rennteam site is a valuable and fantastic place to share stories, photos and knowledge. I love spending every spare moment I have on it. I'd really like to spot other Rennteamers on the road by way of looking for a RENNTEAM.COM sticker on your cars.

RC, Carlos, Fanch and others, are there any available and if not, do you think we could organise some?

well it would BUT then as corerctly said by RC in the past that would result in banner,adds in the site, and it would loose its originality,, integrity and honesty..

Maybe move towards the direction of Rennlist, who i dont like very much...

The "strength" of Rennteam.com lies in the non-commercial nature.
People trust us, car manufacturers don't like too much what we're doing but they can't do much about us.

To be "independent" has a lot of advantages.

Now regarding the sticker: great idea but...how to pay for it? Subscription fees? We don't want money from our users. Donations? I guess this is a "friendly" subscription fee too.

I can imagine only one thing: a user or a few users who organize the production of the stickers and send them around to other people for a small postage fee. Also some ads in car magazines would be nice, if somebody really wants to do that and doesn't care too much about cost, we would be happy. Of course the usage of our "logo" would be OK in such cases, no problem. We just don't want to be connected to commercial advertisement.

I'm sorry I can't do more about stickers, etc. We the editors and moderators have all real life every day jobs and we run Rennteam.com just for fun and out of passion for sports cars. We already invest a lot of time and money, we can't pay for stickers and advertisement, I'm sorry.

We also don't have the time or resources to send out stickers to people.

I wish I had the time...

That's too bad RC... although if asked I believe that users would be more than happy to volunteer. I've been a member for a short time only and I truly see the value of a place where people can share information freely. By having a sticker helps promote that very same value not necessarily advertising the site. Count me in if there is anything I can do.

stickers pretty easily.... but getting them out to individuals would be the problem... we would need something like cafepress.com where you can set up a store and people can just order products and then THEY take payement and ship them out for you... any ideas ? We could make RENNTEAM.COM T-shirts there... but the sticker options they have look bad....

yeah, just use a cafe express idea, some where independent that can distribute the stickers for the members to order from.... well?

...Slightly more refined, no silly stickers, perhaps we all just make some small donations to have them with Rennteam LOGO on it, or whatever makes everyone happy?
